The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, which springs up and becomes the largest of plants, like a tender shoot from the cedar which will bear fruit and become a majestic cedar. So shall the just one flourish, like a cedar. As we walk by faith and not by sight, may our lives bear fruit in abundance.

Monthly Online Giving: $31,579 was collected through our online giving program in May for our weekly offertory & Heart of the Parish Fund.

“Dear altar boys and altar girls, the

closer you are to the altar, the more you will remember to speak with Jesus

in daily prayer; the more you will be

nourished by the Word and the Body of the Lord, the better able you will be

to go out to others, bringing them the

gift that you have received, giving in

turn with enthusiasm the joy you have

received.”

- Pope Francis, August 2015

Do you want to be an Altar Server? Parishioners who have received their First Holy Communion or who are entering at least the 3rd grade are invited to be a part of this important liturgical ministry. To learn more, or to enroll for training, please visit our website or pick up an enrollment form in the parish office or back of the church. The enrollment deadline is July 8th. We wish you safe travels and much fun during your summer vacations! We know you’ll be out of town for a few Sundays this summer, but

that doesn’t mean you can’t participate through your regular tithes. With our Online Giving Program you can contribute from wherever you are - and you can even set up payments in advance if you like! When you give online, it helps our parish to meet our budget, even when attendance is low, which ensures we can continue our services and programs throughout the entire year.

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDEDANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDEDANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDEDANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED

As our school year came to a close this past week, the second annual Anthony R. Bellezza Memorial Kindness Program Scholarships were awarded to three St. Joan of Arc School students. Sister Eileen and our teachers selected these students for their extraordinary acts of kindness during the year. Each student received a $250 scholarship! We congratulate each of them as they are an outstanding example of “God’s Way – The Road to Kindness!” There were so many wonderful acts of kindness done by our students during this school year. We want to recognize all our students for showing kindness and caring during the school year! We also thank our teachers and parents for their encouragement and support of this Kindness Program! Our children watch and learn from the kindness we show every day.

Continue to be inspired to be kind over the summer months! Show that you care by following “God’s Way – The Road to Kindness!” Have a wonderful summer and may God’s loving care always be with you!
