The Bulletin of the Bedford County Amateur Radio Society Number 25 -Volume IV –Christmas 2015 Christmas Greetings As we conclude another successful year at BCARS, the leadership of the club wish you a most Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. 2014 proved to be our most productive year ever. Just look at what you accomplished: 1. Highest Club Membership ever 2. Successful Field Day at a new location 3. Numerous drills, nets and club activities that increased our team work 4. Terrific BCARS Picnic at the JEK Lakeside Resort 5. New antennas including three tower constructions and several wire and VHF antennas for members. 5. Best Fall Foliage Service ever with a new high visibility location at the County Parking lot on Penn Street. 6, Recognition from the ARRL, including placing #1 in WPA with our SET Exercise participation and renewal of our Special Service Club Award.
