Placement Testing - See Orientation Leaders for DetailsEligible students will take the Language Placement Exams to ensure proper placement for schedule creation.

Wolves Card - University Community Center (UCC)Students will get pictures taken for their Wolves ID Card! IDs will be picked up at Finish Line on day two.

Welcome - Campus Center Ballroom UWG is excited to welcome our newest Wolves to the Pack, give an overview of the day, introduce our Orientation Leaders, and assist in making the transition to UWG as seamless as possible!

Small Group Time - Various Locations on CampusMeet other new students, engage in icebreakers, and meet your Orientation Leader!

Mapping Your Course - Various Locations on CampusStudents will meet with Academic Advisors to review academic expectations.

Campus Tour/Navigating Online Platforms - with Orientation LeadersGet to know UWG in small groups, and learn to navigate all online platforms, including how to create a course schedule, access email, receive communication from your professors, and accept financial aid.

Who Will You Be? - Campus Center Ballroom Orientation Leaders will perform a reader’s theatre portraying the values of UWG, and introduce students to campus resources. Orientation Leaders will lead a small group discussion following the skit.

Dinner - Z-6 Dining Hall

Life On Campus Sessions - Technology Enhanced Learning Center (TLC)Students will have the opportunity to engage in 3 of 7 student involvement sessions on the following topics: Fraternity Life, Sorority Life, Getting Involved, Campus Employment, University Recreation, Study Abroad, & Study Tips.

Rock the Rec - Campus CenterGet a taste of what University Recreation (UREC) has to offer, and see how UREC is much more than just a campus gym! Go West, Go Rec!

Res Life After Dark - The Oaks Residence HallJoin Housing & Residence Life staff at The Oaks to end day one with various activities to preview what to look forward to after move-in day!
