DR HOE EE KHOR CHIEF ECONOMIST AMRODr. Khor is the Chief Economist of AMROresponsible for overseeing and developingthe work on macroeconomic and financialmarket surveillance on East Asia and on themember economies in the region.
Prior to joining AMRO, Dr. Khor was aDeputy Director of the Asia and PacificDepartment (APD) at the InternationalMonetary Fund (IMF), responsible foroverseeing the surveillance work on sixASEAN and twelve Pacific Island countries.

HANS GENBERG EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR THE SEACEN CENTREDr. Hans Genberg assumed the post asExecutive Director of The SEACEN Centre inKuala Lumpur on July 1, 2015 having servedas an Adviser to The Centre since March 3,2014. Prior to joining SEACEN Dr. Genbergwas Assistant Director at the IndependentEvaluation Office of the InternationalMonetary Fund after having been ExecutiveDirector, Research at the Hong KongMonetary Authority.

DR. YEAH KIM LENG PROFESSOR OF ECONOMICS SUNWAY UNIVERSITYDr. Yeah is the Professor of Economics and Director of Economic Studies Program at Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia (JCI) at Sunway University. He assumed the current positions in May 2015 following a 2- year stint as a business school dean in another local private university.
He is currently a Vice-President of the Malaysian Economic Association (MEA), a trustee of the Malaysian Tax Research Foundation (MTRF) and one of the two external members re-appointed early this month to Bank Negara Malaysia’s Monetary Policy Committee for a second 2-year term
