What is SCeLE?

SCeLE (Student Centered e-Learning Environment) is a Learning Management System(LSM) that ‘s owned and used by University of Indonesia to support the learning process among UI’s students and lecturers.

What’s The Problem?

DOES SCELE EFFECTIVE OR NOT TO SUPPORT THE

LEARNING PROCESS IN UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA??

Advantages

1. SCeLE help represent the idea of the student in understanding and trust.2. SCeLE as an information tool for investigating the knowledge that supports the learner to access the required information.3. SCeLE can increase effectiveness the students in the midst of the lecture.

4. Learning activities can be carried out in the distance, students can also download the material that has been provided.5. SCeLE is a source of information and news of UI.6. UI Students recognize digital device which connected to the internet and be able to use it for college.

7. Students can access a variety of sites, features, and services of SCeLE with practical, easy, and fast.8. Students can communicate directly with SCeLE support services.9. Students are involved in improving the quality SCeLE by giving advice and feedback to the suggestion box of SCeLE.

Disadvantages

Spent much money. If we late to submit our task or we forget to do our

quiz until untill passing the due date we will not get marks.

SCeLE sometime teaches us to cheat. Internet connection in UI doesn’t afford it. Disscusing in SCeLE is very limited. We can’t

express freely our expression like in real life. Sometimes it brings missunderstanding.

Some of UI lecturers still do not know to operate well, they late to give marks, difficult to discuss together.

CONCLUSSION

Because of the advantages of using SCeLE more than disadvantages, we can conclude that Using SCeLE in UI to support the learning process is effective.

But its all we give back to you to look it from your own ideas.
