EASTER FOOD BASKETS – The Social Concerns Committee, with the help of Mountaire Farms, will be giving out food baskets for Easter. Mountaire will pro-vide us 60 chicken roasters with food for an Easter meal. We will still need some additional items to supple-ment what Mountaire provides and will need a few more chicken roasters. Items needed are: canned fruit or ap-plesauce, stuffing, boxed potatoes, chicken gravy, cake mixes and icing, canned vegetables, muffin mix and candy for Easter Baskets. Five or ten dollar gift cards for dairy products would, also, be appreciated.. We will need the food items by March 22nd. If you are planning to donate candy, we would appreciate if you could drop that off by March 13th, so we can give it to the Girl Scout Troup preparing the Easter Baskets for us. Thank you for your continued generosity in our mission to help those in

need.

Young people from across the diocese will carry the diocesan pilgrimage cross through the streets of Wilmington with the bishop as a representation of Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem and his journey on Good Friday to Calvary. Registration opens at 10 am at St. Elizabeth parish and the day begins with opening prayer and a concert featuring Noelle Garcia at 10:30 am. We conclude with the 5pm Mass at St. Eliza-beth. All pilgrims are asked to bring a baby item (baby wipes, destin, bottles, diapers, formula, clothing) to sup-port the Catholic Charities' Bayard House which serves homeless and pregnant teens and their families.
