NCTE

WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) of Section 32 of the National Council for

Teacher Educarion Acr, 1993 (73 of ile:; anO in supersession of the National Council for Teacher Education

(Recognition Nonns and Procedure) Regulations, 2009, the National Council for Teacher Education has notified the

Regulations, 2014 on 01 .12.2014.

Z. AND, WHEREAS, the recognition has been granted to the institutions mentioned in para 5 below for the course

mentioned against their narne.

3. AND. WHEREAS, the said institutions by affidavit have consented to come under New Regulations and have

sought for the number of ulits in B.Ed./M.Ed./B.P.tld. as mentioned in para 5 below against their nanre- which may

require additional faci I ities.

4. AND, WHEREAS, it has been decided to permit the institution to have the desired nunrber of units subject to

fulfilling the following conditions:-

(i) The institution shall create additional facilities that include (a) additional built-up-area, (b) additional

infrastructure, (c) additional funds, (d) adhere to staff norms as per Regulations. 2014 and inform

Regional Committees with required documents by October 31 ,2015'(ii) The applicant Institution for additional unit will be required to submit the required documents' such as,

land docunents, Non Encumbrance Certificate (EC), Change oi Land Use Cenificate (CLU) and

Building plan (BP) in the specified proforma available on the website of the Regional Committee in

proof o1 having provided the additional facilities before October 31, 2015. Building completion

Certificate (BC-) may be given along with other documents if available, otherwise it can be given to

the Visiting Team at the time of inspection.

(iii) The Regio-nal Committee shall arrange for verification of documents, inspection of the premises and

check adherence to these conditions by 20 February,2016. lf it is found by the Regional Committee

that t6e ilsf.itution has failed to contply with these requirements, the institution shall rrot be permitted to

admit students for the acadernic year 2016-2017 -

(iv) In case arry existing institution's rnatter is sub-j ud ice under coutl dire€tior,/SCN under section I 7 of the

NCTE nc? Compiaint etc., the institution shall be required to submit a copy of thc Hon'ble Courl

order/repl1, to SaN/complaint already submitted alongwith documents, if any, logether with the

documents referred above. In case the institution's request for shifting of premises is pending, such

institution shall be required to subnrit the requisite documents as per provisions of the NCTE

Regulations, 2014 with a copy of the order,4.,lOC of the affiliating body/State Govt. and such other

documents as indicated in the revised fornrat recognition order. This order shall be subject to the

directions given by the Hon'ble Court in the Writ Petitionicase and in respect of Section l7lcomplaint

cases etc. ai OeciCiO by the Northern Regional Committee.

5. Now, therefore, in light of the above, tlre Northern Regionai Con.rmittee, NCTE hereby issues the revised

Recognition Order to the following institutions for conducting the under-mentioned programme44.lfghg-ol-.llggiear!

(d) Names of students admitted duringthe current session along with qualification, percentage of marks inthe qualifying examination and in the entrance test, if any, date of admission, etc.(e) Fee charged from students.

(fl Available infrastructural facilities.(g) Facilities added during the last quarter.(h) \umb9r of books in the library, journals subscribed to and additions, if any, in the lasr quarter.(i) The affidavit with enclosures submitted along with application.0) The institution shall be free to post and additional information, if it so desires.
