S-151 is located in Water Conservation Area (WCA) 3A at the intersection of the Miami Canal (C-304) and L-67A Canal which is approximately 6 miles southwest of the S-9 Pump Station in Broward County

The S-151 Structure Replacement and Automation project consists of the completion of construction of the remotely operated cast-in-place concrete box culvert with four bays, gates, control building, electrical and controls, rip rap, marine mattress, wing walls, stilling wells and platforms, and site work.
The original contract was issued at the July 13, 2017 Governing Board, Notice to Proceed was effective on January 15, 2018 and the contract was terminated on June 23, 2020.
This is a new contract with a replacement Contractor to complete the project.
This structure discharges water from Water Conservation Area 3A to Water Conservation Area 3B and helps to relieve high water conditions.
