October 2016 Welcome Note from the Academic Vice President Faculty Of The Month Dr. Matthias Bode, Associate Professor, College of Business & Financial Sciences Dear students On behalf of Royal University for Women I would like to welcome you all to another Academic year 2016-17, full of challenges and opportunities. We will work together to make this year a very successful one, both in academics and other co-curricular activities. Last academic year has been a very eventful as RUW celebrated its 10th Anniversary with array of activities Ǥ Ƥ ǡ we participated and successfully completed the National Accreditation project, RUW successfully organised a two day Conference on Women and Society in April 2016 and the students organised a very successful RUW Carnival. In addition there were many more successful events and activities where our ǡ ơ Ǥ ǡ ơ teaching methodology that brings harmony between the well-established Middle Eastern values and the old value system of the West. We are proud of the fact that we provide a multicultural environment that Ǥ ơ faculty members from 17 countries. The faculty members are professionals with vast experience in their Ǥ Ƭ to you at RUW. As per our commitment to enhance the teaching and learning experience at RUW from AY 2013-14 the revised curriculum in all colleges for all academic programmes has been implemented. Please keep yourselves updated with the information which is available in the Programme handbooks and recently enhanced RUW website. Academic advising is integral to your academic aspirations in the university life. Each one of you is assigned to a faculty member for academic advising. If you have any query about the registration, study plans, ǡ ǡ ǡ Ƥ your advisor. They are there to help you with your academic plans and related issues.
