Managing the project
• Building the project team existing academic contacts – Important factor – good personal relations & trust!

Outcomes of the BC-sponsored cooperation: Short term
Exchange of academic visits including teaching arrangements
Organization of a conference on Sustainable energy development in Perm in April 2012
– involvement of international organizations, industry and academic institutions
– Sponsorship by BP and regional government of Perm
– Doctoral seminar for young researchers from both Russia and the UK
