It was a cold and early start to Saturday but it was great to see everyone who attended the clinic. Saturday started off with the kids being split up into one group and the oldies were in another. We were able to work on some individual issues/problems we were having with our horses and Nakeia also set us some tasks to accomplish. I know we all took home some good lessons learnt and we now have a few new things to teach our horses. We all learnt that riding your horse is more about your legs than your hands where most of your control comes from your legs and I bet eve-ryone had a set of sore legs by the end of the weekend! I know I enjoyed the 2 days and I am sure everyone got a lot of helpful knowledge and information from Nakeia. Thanks to Nakeia for sparing two days out of his busy schedule to come and give some expert help and guidance. We’d like to run another horsemanship clinic and hopefully we’ll get a

few more kids coming along to learn some basic necessary skills to become great horsemen and women :)
