This status parameter determines on how much a girl is in love with you. Itgoes from a scale of 1 to 10. Only characters shown with a heart in thefriend list can fall in love with you. Love points can be increase by doingthe following.

- Engage in a conversation + 5 Points ( Works once per day )- Have perfume on + 4 Points ( works once per day )- Give a gift she likes + 9 Points ( Works once per day ) - Give her favourite gift +15 Points ( Works once per day )- Give her a gift she hates -5 Points - Giving a present on the girl's birthday will increase love points by double and as well as decrease by double if you give her a gift she hates.- Finishing a girl's request will increase Love points by 10 points.

HP = Hit Points. This is your health guage. If HP reaches 0 your character will faint and will end up at the magic clinic. You will have to pay a fee based on your level for each time you faint.

RP = Rune Points. This is used for performing actions. From farming, attacking and using rune abilites such as magic. If your RP is at 0 it requires 50% of your HP to perform an action and can kill your character. * In order to restore RP, you can consume food, take a bath at the inn or search for Rune Orbs.

How to Save ===========

Saving can be done by examining your diary at your house or at save crystal in dungeons. Although there is no game overs in Rune Factory 3 but it is recommended to save before festivals or a boss fight in case if you mess up.

How to Make Money=================

In order to make money in Rune Factory 3, everything can be sold by throwingitems at the shipping bin at the farm of your house. Your income will comeafter 5:00 PM.

Notes-----Higher item level will give a higher value of profit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------3C Farming-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basic farming is first done by sowing soil with your hoe. Once the soil issowed you can plants seeds, then make sure you water the plants or else theywon't grow or even die. When the plants are fully grown, you can take them andsell them by throwing the crops in your shipping bin. Each seed only workson a particular season. However all dungeons contain a fixed season allowingyou to crops of that particular season.

Notes

=====unlike the previous Rune Factory games, each day your crops have a chance towither and can simply fix by watering your crops. So make sure you checkyour plants each day. If not, the plants will become withered weed on the next day.

Withered weed can also be used as fertilizer to increase plant level. To useone, first place it in the soil, and either till it with your hoe. This is a very effective method for growing crops. Its cheaper then buying fertilizer and also grows crops at a faster rate.

===============| Soil Quality |-------------------------------------------------------------------------------Soil Quality can be check by using magnifying glass found in the grocerystore.

Soil quality affects the growth rate and also the chance of increasing thequality of crops produce. The soil quality range from poor to excellent.

The soil resting condition affects the plants chance of withering.

When you harvest your crops, there is a chance to find a Runey or Rune Orbs. Runey's are harvest spirits, that can be taken to increase your base statuspermanently. The three status are Strength, Vitality and Intelligence. Runey increase your status at a higher rate then leveling up. Which makes it very important to farm then to fight. Rune Orbs are blue orbs that increasea random skill level and also recover a good portion of your RP.

When you take harvest your crop, you will have to sow the soil again. Try new place to sow soil each time. Using the same spot for planting can decreasethe quailty of soil. *This is different from any Harvest Moon or previousRune Factory games.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------3D Combat-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basic combat is done by equipping a weapon on the tool command. Every type ofequipment can be used as a weapon even if they are tools. Actual weapons have advantages such as using rune abilities and special attacks under the right command.

Status Conditions=================Going into battle, there is a chance of getting a bad status condition after suffering from an attack. The conditions listed are.

Poison = Gradually lose health over time.Paralyse = Prevents running.Seal = Rune ability are sealed.Fatigue = Your character is tired.

These status conditions can be recover by using the correct medicine or at the Magic clinic for a fee of a 100 G. The condition fatigue can be cured by sleeping.

Notes=====Each basic action in fighting requires a very small amount of RP (Rune Points).

Higher skill level with weapons increase damage output and also develop newabilities. When your skill level reach level 5, you will develop a dash attack.Then at lv 10, you can charge your weapon and finally at level 20 you canperform a special attack which is done by pressing the tool button after youhave finish the final hit of your combo.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------3E Pets and Livestock-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pets and livestock are monsters found in dungeons, and can help you do many things if you manage to tame them. But first you will need to own a pet house.The pet house can be build by speaking to Gaius. The price is a 80 pieces of wood and can be upgrade by paying Gaius another 120 piece of wood. Now Unlikethe previous Rune Factory games, taming monsters requires you to feed them.The items you use can be anything, however the monster will only be tamed if you feed an item the monster likes or have a brush . If the condition are met then the game will open up a naming screen with the pet you have just tamed.

Only certain pets produce products that can be sold. The quality of the product produced is based on the monster's affection level. This affectionlevel is increased by brushing the monster each day and having them properlyfed.

Pet Food can be found by growing grass and then adding them to your pet house.

Notes=====

In Rune Factory 3, tools are not required to harvest products made by monsters.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------3F NPC Interaction-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you stay longer in Sharance village, the villagers will get more friendlytowards you as you talk to them. When they start to open up to you, they willput request on the bulletin board or your mail box. NPC can also join you in battle if they got spare time. Each NPC is equipped with a weapon and one slot for an accessory of your choice. The NPC equipment can be change by giving the items as gifts.

Notes=====

Npc will only join you at a friendship of level 3 or higher. The higher therelationship the longer they will stay. At level 8 love level , you can go

on a date if you go to the eye catchers in the dungeons.

Magic Seedcan be purchase from the flower shop. Each Magic Seed serve a complete different function from creating a lily pad for transportation or even creating an extra partner in battle.

===============================================================================Section 4 Main Walkthrough===============================================================================

The main walkthrough section covers the main storyline.

Watch the opening scene, once the event is over. Shara will bring you inside the Sharance Tree. Talk to Shara and she will give you instructions on each utensil.

Storage Box - For storing Weapons, armor, items and tools.

Refrigerator - For storing vegetables, fruits, fish, flowers , seeds and cooked dishes.

Kitchen Counter - Use for cooking.

Calendar - Display Festivals, birthdays.

Diary - Use for Saving.

Head downstairs, you will be introduced to the Sharance Farm. Shara will giveyou a rusty hoe and an old waterpot. A monster will come, attack it by usingyour hoe. Right after that another monster will come. Gaius will come inthe scene and will throw you a weapon based on your choice. Defeat the monsters using your new weapon.

Now depending on how you answer your next question, it will determine the game's difficulty level.

"Yes, they were strong!" = Normal difficulty.

"They were pretty weak, actually..." = Hard difficulty.

difficulty level can be change at any time from the trophy room in yourbasement.

You can listen on basic farming instruction from Shara or you can skipit by saying no.

Once you are done, head to the flower shop and talk to Shara.

Talk to Sharawhen you have accomplish your task. Now go to the shipping Bin at your houseand throw an item in it. Then talk to Shara again.

Try finishing or dropping your request first then do the event.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As your relationship develop between the villagers, more quest will unlock. Now head to Privera Forest (Southwest of Grocery Store). And watch an eventwith Wells. Well will give you the Rune Ability "Teleport".

Head to the area " The Eye" at the north eastcorner of the Privera Forest.In this area you can see there is two statues. The orange statue on the left and a gray one on the right. Examine the statue on the right, you will notice

the statue can rotate. Turn both statue till it face down. Then go to the Pupilarea and turn the both statue till they are both facing up. After that it will reveal a secret passage. Enter through the secret passage. The first thing youwill notice the bridge is broken. Go to the other end of the broken bridge.

Head back to the village. Go to the Blacksmith shop and speak to Raven and Gaius. Find Wells, he will mention that Daria can fix the broken bridge. You can find Daria in the house right at the beginning of Privera Forest. Speak to Daria and she will have the bridge fix for you.

The boss will appear as a small racoon when you first see it, The boss is harmless until you start to attack it. The racoon will transform into an enormous racoon. The boss has three special attacks. Two of his attacks areshooting projectices, one of them by shooting two large projectices that youcan dodge by running straight to him and the other projectile attack is shooting a large amount of small projectiles scatter all over the place.The other two attacks are his footstomp, that can deal seriously damage toyour character if you do not avoid them. Once the boss HP goes down 50%, the boss will start to blink (Their Defense are increased 50%) and start tocreate lllusions of himself and use a random pattern of attacks.

Once you have finish the bandit head to the room on the right and examine theorb. Now that Privera Forest is clear, head back to the Sharance Tree. You willnotice an unfamiliar man heading towards Sol Terrano. Once you are inside Sol Terrano, an event with Wells will occur.

Boss fights are repeatable. You can kill it again for a chance to obtain bossloot.

One of the bonus from finishing Privera Forest, is the Sharance tree willgrow. This will allow you to built a workshops at your house.

From now on Micah can transform into a Wooly by using his transformation belt.Move to Sol Terrano. A conversation between Wells will occur. when you're in Sol Terrano, you will notice that you can see face icons at the very left side of the mini map. A village reside over there. Head to that village, however the village forbids humans from entering. That is when you have to transform into a Wooly.

Welcome to the Univir Settlement. First speak to Kuruna, then leave the monster settlement. Go back to town and speak to Wells. Then head back to the UnivirSettlement and speak to Kuruna. Kuruna wants you to find the Dragon Bones with Zaid. Now talk to **Zaid and have him join you.

** Note: Like all companions in this game, they will not join if you arecurrently doing a quest. So make sure you drop them if you want Zaid to join.

You will notice an area that was blocked on the southeast of Sol Terrano can beaccess now. Head to that route and go to southeast area of the Sol Terrano, youcan see the dragon bones are lying on this map. First you will have to defeat all the monsters in this map before you can examine the bones. Bring the dragon bone back to Kuruna. Kuruna now wants you obtain the Cactus flower.This cactus can be found by heading to the southwest area of Sol Terrano(Cactus Cove). Like before, you have to defeat all the monsters before you can examine the cactus. Take the flower and bring it back to Kuruna. Watch the event. Now you can fight the boss that just right at the north exit of theUnivir Settlement or you can save and come back later.

This boss can dish out some really serious attacks if you're not careful. The boss have two forms, one is in his skeleton form and the other form is hisorb form. The skeleton form is taken down when you inflict enough hits. The bones will fall off and you can attack the core. Attacking the core is the only way to deal damage to this boss. After a few seconds the core will start to charge up for a lighting attack that you could avoid by running away from him as far as possible. Then the bones will regenerate. Repeating the pattern from the beginning.

Pink Melon can be grown extremely rapidly under the right soil condition. Although Pink Melon seeds are expensive, each melon can be sold for 4200G which makes it one of the best crops to grow for spring.

Give Kuruna the Cactus Flower. Head to the north exit of the monster settement and examine the orb. After clearing the Desert, head back totown and watch the event with Sakuya. Next go to the Sharance Pondway (where the Inn and Diner is). You will see another event with Sakuya.

Go to Oddward Valley and as you go to each area of Oddward Valley, Micah will notice something is making a large noise. Once you reach to the finalarea (Ancient Garden), Micah will find nothing there. Head back to town and speak to Blaise at the Diner. Blaise will mention about a Salted Char beingstolen. Now for the next part, you will need the recipe to cook a **Salted Char**. Go to the the entrance of Oddward Valley and watch the eventwith Carmen. Then head to final area of Oddward Valley and save. Once you head the boss room, use the Salted Char on the center circle. It will bait the bossout.

** How to cook a Salted Char **

You will have to buy the frying pan utensil from Blaise. Then your Cooking Skill Levle must be at level 12 to have a 100% success rate of cooking aSalted Char. Char can be found in the first fishing area of Sol Terrano Desert.

First thing I recommend you to do is to bring a non-elemental weapon for this battle. Because this boss is a pair of lions that have different elemental weakness and resistances. By using a non-elemental weapon you can avoid switching your weapons back and forth. Each boss have a different attack, the red lion rely on melee attacks and a very dangerous opponent up close.The blue lion uses magic and long range attacks. It best to deal equal damageto both lions so you can take them both out at the same time. Because when one of the lion dies the other lion goes berzerk, which will increase it's attack power and could possibly kill your character instantly.

Head to Vale River and watch the cutscene. Now in order to do the next part,first you will need to buy an Magic Seed at the flower shop called the "Lily Pad" (Brown Seed). Then go back to Vale River and on the entranceyou see a sign by the river. Use the Lily Pad Magic Seed. It will createa lily pad that you can ride on. Use this to cross through the river. Whenyou try to go to the north exit, the main character will notice the evillaugh. Now kill all the monsters in this map including the ones on theleft end of the map. You can reach the left end by knocking down the ice, creating a bridge. Now head to northwest exit to the Cathedral Cavern and kill all the monsters there. Once this is done you can take the east exit onthe previous area. Then keep on going forward until you reach to the end. Make sure your Magic Seed is still alive because you will need it to make it to the last area. Save your game as there is a boss right ahead.

Notes-----**After Clearing Vale River, Warps are created that allows you to teleportto the other area without using your Magic Seed.

Another method of crossing the river is to have Ninja Shoes equipped. NinjaShoes can be forge at your workshop or sold at Yue's shop randomly.

The Death Wall can be very difficult or very easy depending on your currentstatus. If you came in prepare you can actually fight it straight on. TheDeath wall does have some extreme deadly magic attacks that does a lot of hitsso try to stay away from him. The Death Wall will transform into a weapon toget close to you. Avoid Death Wall's attack and use this opportunity to strike.

Now head north and examine the orb. Go back to the entrance of your house andwatch the cutscene with Wells. Now head to the Univir Settlement and speakto Ondorous. Then go find Wells and speak to him. Head back to the UnivirSettlement again and speak to Ondorous and then talk to Kuruna. Speak toOndorous and leave.
