Game

Drill

After games, we go into a 3 drill rotation.Splitting up into 4 equal groups, each group will spend 5mins at each drill.

3 on 2 – 2 Groups will be in this group, at the end of 5mins, 1 group will move on and the other will stay. 1 group will be on offense/defence for the whole 5mins. When we switch the defensive team moves to the next drill and the offensive team goes to defence. The new group coming in goes to offense. 3 players attack 2 defenders looking to score. Running lanes are put in place to keep the attackers from drifting, defence can run wherever they want.

Y-Pass – 1 person starts on each yellow cone (if more than 4, extra players line up behind top 2 cones), person on bottom cone has 2 balls and feeds them gently to the person facing them on the middle yellow cone. That person alternates passing left and right to the top 2 players who are running onto the ball and catching it at the

red cone. At the red cone, they pass ball back to feeder and back track to the yellow cone to go again (if more players, then next person goes in place of the player backtracking). Alternate positions every minute.

Re-Align – 2 players start on red, they must run around yellow, straighten up, receive ball from player based at halfway and then pass to player on there opposite side from where it was received from. They run through and person on other side goes.

End Ball

Game is made up of 2 teams. The goal is to score as many points as possible. At the outset, the ball can be moved in any way from player to player. Teams can only score by moving the ball to

a teammate who is inside one of the 4 scoring zones.1 Point is scored for passing from hand2 Points for kicking it there

Initial rules are:• A player with the ball can only take 2

steps after this, they are frozen in place.• Turnovers happen when a ball is

dropped, intercepted.• If player with ball is 2 handed touched,

they may not take the 2 steps and must kick the ball.

• Ball cannot be immediately passed to the same person it came from.

• ANY team can use ANY scoring zone (however, do not make them aware of this, see if they can figure it out).

• Cannot score in the same square on consecutive tries.

After an initial 5mins, add rule:

• Ball cannot be passed by hand overhead. Result is a turnover.

After additional 5mins, add rule:• Person with ball can move freely.• After 2 handed touch, turnover.
