ZX Servers integrate the industry’s latest performance motherboards and processors into a reinforced rugged and lightweight aluminum chassis. ZMicro’s computing solutions also leverage the fully ruggedized TP2 data storage module, providing advanced protection and the convenience of “hot-swappable” data transfer for any 2.5” HDD or SSD. Flexible Computing Solution The ZX2 Rugged Server offers the ideal computing solution for military and industrial applications seeking a balance between configuration flexibility and space savings. The 2U (3.45” high) server offers flexibility and expansion for up to 3 PCI add-on cards that can be used for high performance graphics, video capture, RAID support, or other application needs. The ZX2 supports up to 6 rugged TP2 storage modules (up to 2TB each) for maximum storage capacity. ZX Servers meet stringent MIL-STD shock/vibe requirements by utilizing features such as: support brackets to secure PCI expansion cards in all three axes, a reinforced aluminum chassis, locking connectors and RTV to secure all non-locking connectors. ZX Servers are also designed to mitigate electrical interference by using input filters and cable shielding. ZMicro takes reliability seriously, offering a proprietary Environmental Control Board (ECB) that actively monitors internal thermal conditions to ensure your server will remain running in the harshest environments.
