take their rugby to the next level.What sets the Merchiston camp apart is the fact that it is an innovative developmentprogramme, which aims to train attendees in the manner of professional players with afocus on all round improvement.
The week long intensive course not only offers plenty of practical Skill Developmenttraining sessions, but also seminars on nutrition, strength and conditioning, injurymanagement, rehabilitation, and game analysis; giving players an all round educationon how to improve both their rugby skills and physical fitness.

Brendan was a member of the Scotland Senior International Rugby squad, representingScotland A and spent four years as a professional rugby player with the Border Reivers.
He knows Merchiston well, having been a pupil, and more recently, Director of Rugby.This is Brendan's third consecutive year running the Merchiston Summer Rugbyprogramme and he brings with him a wealth of experience in elite sport, not only ofrugby itself, but also of this camp, and he has continually modified and improved theprogramme from previous years to ensure that it is the best that it can be.
