Martin Moore, Chairman of Loddon Fisheries and Conservation
Consultative, was recognised as a 2017 River Champion for his
commitment to the Loddon Catchment. He was essential in
setting up the Loddon Rivers Week and works on pollution
prevention, leads practical conservation across the catchment
and is always a willing pair of hands offering support, advice and
cakes! He has also been instrumental in bringing together flood and environment groups

SITE VISITS TO THE 2017 UK RIVER PRIZE FINALISTS
The River Tweed, which flows over the border between Northern
England and Scotland, has been announced as one of the finalists
of the 2017 Thiess International Riverprize, 2 years after winning
the UK River Prize in 2015. Congratulations to all the finalists >>
Join us as we visit two of the
runners up in 2017 UK River Prize.
The final two site visits of the year
will be held in South East Wales and
Gloucestershire, to acknowledge
the hard work and restoration
projects which have taken place >>

Rosie was with RRC for 9 months, working as Community Engagement Officer,
encouraging involvement in river restoration through training courses and
resources for third sector organisations and trusts >> funded by the Esmée
Fairbairn Foundation. We wish Rosie the best of luck for the future.
