DATA REVIEWER: Douglas GodfreyDATA SUPERVISOR: Zohreh Hamid, Ph.D.

The laboratory's portion of SDG #TRC127 consisted of five samples(one water and four soils) analyzed for TAL metals by Roy F.Weston, Inc.

The laboratory reported no -problems with the receipt and analysis.of rhe samples received on 01-11-90.

The reviewer has commented on the criteria specified under eachanalysis heading method. All criteria has been assessed, but nodiscussion is given where the evaluator has determined thatcriteria were adequately performed or require no comment. A listof samples with criteria deficiencies and qualifier codes issummarized in Table I. A glossary of qualifier codes is presentedin Attachment I. Amounts of detected analytes are summarized inAttachment II.

1. Samples were received on 01-11-90. All required holdingtimes were met.

2. ICVs, CCVs and LCSs stock standards were purchased fromInorganic Ventures Laboratory.

3. All ICV and CCV values were within control limits.

4. All ICB and CCB values were within control limits,

5. All preparation blank values were within control limits.

6. All LCS results were within the 80-120% control limits.

Note: The USEPA has dropped control limits for antimonyand silver due to documented difficulties inobtaining reliable results. WESTON -Analyticshas adopted the same policy.

7. All aqueous matrix spike recoveries were within the 75-125%control limits with the exception of Sb. All correspondingsamples were flagged with an "N" according to CLP protocol.

8* All solid matrix spike recoveries were within the 75-125%control limits with the exception of Sb, As, Cr, Pb, Mn, Se,Ag, and V. All corresponding samples were flagged with an"N" according to CLP protocol.

9. All duplicate analyses were within the 20% RPD control limit
