Lab provided failure analysis, product review, manufacturing process review, 3rd party material testing, chemical analysis, and expert analysis of all material matrices. Major clients included: US Army Logistics, US Navy, US Air Force, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Dept. of Labor, OSHA, major oil corporations, aviation corporations, and mining conglomerates. My responsibilities exceeded beyond supervision of engineering and scientific staff to include final report writing, customer contact and expert witness testimony. Familiar with all testing protocols, and quality assurance procedures from welding specs to material design. Extensive experience with statistical review of data and quality assurance using national standards. Led the laboratory through a national accreditation process.

Have extensive experience as Lead Investigator on several major catastrophic petrochemical plant explosions as contracted by OSHA. I remain the foremost expert on catastrophic petrochemical plants having been the lead investigator on 9 of the past 12 events

over the past two decades. These investigations involved my onsite inspection and investigation of these incidences from initial step through final submission of reports. This involved writing investigation protocols for approval from presiding judge, to coordinating the testing of materials at laboratory facility.

Conference Manager and Program Chair

37th Annual National Adapted Physical Education ConferenceNovember 2008. Planning for this upcoming conference began in 2005. As Program

Chair, I am responsible for coordinating the call for presentations according to the prescribed conference theme, arranging the presentation schedules, acquiring the AV needs, and coordinating the conference proceedings. Official release of the conference call for papers begins October 2007.

Combined SWD & NWD District AAHPERD & Nevada AHPERD ConferenceJanuary 2007. I was in charge of helping to coordinate the program, as well as the

communication and coordination with the conference hotel as the local representative. Coordinated all of the Nevada AHPERD hosting activities and the Awards Luncheon and social events including the Dance Gala. Coordinated all volunteers and registration staff during the conference.

Western Society for Kinesiology & WellnessOctober 2006. As President-elect I was responsible for every aspect of the conference

from arranging the conference site, creating a program theme, soliciting conference presentations, arranging the program, scheduling the guest speakers, coordinating the socials, business meetings, and conference luncheon.

Activities included: conducting 48 training sessions on YouthFirst for parents and coaches, conducting 16 YouthFirst family Nights for parents and their children involved with youth sports, coordinating the efforts of the Southern Nevada Consortium for Youth Sports such as monthly Board of Director meetings and monthly newsletters. In collaboration with the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department have conducted parent training sessions to educate the parents on and improve the communication behaviors of parents and coaches involved with youth sports. A website as been developed and maintained to support the efforts of both parent and coach in creating a fun and positive environment for youth involved in youth sports.

New Horizons Academy Charter School (2002 - ) Professional Development SchoolA collaborative venture was taken to use New Horizons as a professional development site for students in the adapted physical education courses. Through assistance of the Academy’s cooperating physical educator, students are provided with a hands-on environment in which to practice skills taught in class. Students acquire experience working with students with disabilities in a supportive environment.

All-American Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Las Vegas (2003 - )Developed three exercise programs for clients with multiple sclerosis through collaborative activities of several local entities.
