Principle of Operation
Demand initiates gas flow through the meter
Impeller captures a fixed-volume of gas
Principle of Operation
Measuring cavity opens releasing gas downstream
The meter cycles four times completing one revolution

RPM Meter Features & BenefitsSuperior Strength
Heavy Duty Housings - Provides superior strength against bending or twisting from pipe stress.
Superior Strength
1.5M RPM Rotary Meter on Prover:
215 Pounds hand from a 6 foot schedule 80 pipe with NO affect on Accuracy/Proof.
Effect of weight on pipe - Meter still running at Qmax !!
RPM Meter Features & BenefitsFlexibility
Flexible space saving design - All RPM Series Meters mount in either a vertical or horizontal position, depending on available space and convenience. All standard and optional equipment can be positioned easily for quick service and convenient reading.
FlexibilityFlexible space saving design - Reverse flowing register available eliminating the need for costly additional piping.
FlexibilityFlexible mounting of accessories - Regardless of the meter’s mounting position, the temperature compensator or correcting instrument faces the reader.
RPM Meter Features & BenefitsMechanical Counter - All RPM Series Meters are supplied with a standard uncorrected mechanical register. The magnet driven register and its housing rotate in 90° increments to facilitate vertical or horizontal mounting of meter.
RPM Meter Features & BenefitsMechanical Counter - The integral register is built of teflon and glass reinforced nylon material assuring quiet operation and protection against corrosion. All meters are supplied with the register’s low frequency pulse transmitter (piezo switch).
RPM Meter Features & BenefitsPulsers
Low Frequency Inductive Pulser - The low frequency pulser option
RPM Meter Features & BenefitsPulsers
High Frequency Inductive Pulser - The high frequency pulser option produces a flow rate signal that interfaces with popular flow computers. The computer scales the meter’s output and totalizes the volume.
RPM Meter Features & Benefits
Temperature Compensator - The RPMTC has six months of data storage and includes a port for downloading corrected and uncorrected volumes.
