Reading Date /Day 11 th July 2015 Monday Subject English Class 2 Budiman ( linus ) Time 12.00 pm – 1.00 pm Topic Polly’s yoyo Learning Focus 2.1.2 (g) /y/, 2.2.3 Learning Objectives By the end of the lesson pupil will be able to : i) Identify words with the phoneme /j/. ii) Recite the jazz chant with the correct pronunciation and rhythm. Teaching Aids / Resources Word Cards, jazz chant, picture cards Activities 1. Teacher asks a few pupils hold up the pictures cards. 2. Pupils try to identify and named it. 3. Pupils try to identify words with the phoneme /j/. 4. Teacher display the chant. 5. Teacher read out the chant line by line, pupils repeat after the teacher. 6. Teacher organise pupils into groups. Each groups recite the jazz chant part by part. 7. Pupils present it in front of the class. Teaching And Learning Evaluation /34 be able to identify words and recite the jazz chant with the correct pronunciation.
