SalWe produces research-based knowledge, which gives companies a competitive edge as they develop products, services, and practices.

The goal is to maintain and improve the functional capabilities of an individual and also to prevent, detect, and treat socially significant diseases, such as brain diseases, damage, and stress, iIllnesses caused by lifestyle habits, microbial infections and inflammation and cancers.

The core operational themes are individual health and well-being, as well as monitoring and management of lifestyle habits.

Intelligent Monitoring of Health and Well-being (IMO) 2010-2014Tools with which individuals themselves or healthcare professionals will be able to promote individual well-being and health. 25M€

Mind and Body (Elixir) 2010-2014Better management of obesity and brain disorders. 36M€

Personalized Diagnostics and Care (GET IT DONE.) 2014-2018Efficient utilization of personal health records, patient records and genomic information including new technologies in point-of-care testing and electronic clinical decision support. 31M€

Under preparation, together with DIGILE Speedy Recovery 2015-2018 Continuum from hospital back to work by halving the time used for treatment and institutional care. 43M€
