Discover the Victorian charm of this quaint town on the banks of the mile wide St. Johns River, located just West of St.

Augustine and as the county seat for Clay County, it is filled with history. Once celebrated as “The Saratoga of the South”

and “Watering Hole for the Rich.” In the 1800s many travelers journeyed by riverboat down the St. Johns River from Jacksonville to visit this 3rd magnitude spring. They stayed at grand hotels including the Qui-si-Sana and the Clarendon, which were said to rival famous hotels in New

York, Philadelphia and Chicago, according to historic records and photographs documenting that time. We’ll tour the

historic 1890 County Court House, now a historical museum, 1896 County Jail, and the Railway Museum in the train depot which includes railroad memorabilia, a country

kitchen display and a country store display. St. Mary's Episcopal Church, completed in 1879 is a historic Carpenter Gothic style church located on the banks of the St. Johns River and includes stained glass windows from Colgate

Studio in New York City, one of the earliest stained-glass studios in the United States. See the beautiful Green Cove Spring right in the

heart of town, where over 700 years ago American Indians sought this spring for its warm healing purposes and pirates used to fill water casks. Locally known as

the "Original Fountain of Youth" it attracted guests in the 19th century; more than a dozen hotels were near the spring. Today in beautiful Spring Park, the

unusual paintings, sculptures and visionary explorations in film and life-size interactive art

ushered in a new generation of imaginative expression. From his personal life to his professional

endeavors, he always took great risks and proved how rich the world can be when you dare to

embrace pure, boundless creativity. Discover the life and legend of Salvador Dalí, and get to

know the people, places and events that transformed this Spanish son into a surrealist sensation.

The museum itself is a work of art and an engineering masterpiece. Built with 18-inch thick

hurricane-proof walls out of which erupts a large free-form geodesic glass bubble known as the

“enigma”. The Enigma, which is made up of 1,062 triangular pieces of glass, stands 75 feet at its

tallest point, and inside a double helical spiral staircase.

Dale Chihuly’s works belong to museum collections from the Metropolitan Museum of Art to the

Louvre. His installations have hung over the piazza and canals of Venice. But his permanent

collection resides in downtown St. Petersburg at the Chihuly Collection presented by Morean

Arts Center, a gallery designed precisely and permanently for displaying his works, a true

Chihuly museum. The Collection includes Chihuly’s spectacular large-scale installations such

as Ruby Red Icicle Chandelier created specifically for the Collection along with several popular

series works including Macchia, Ikebana, Niijima Floats, Persians and Tumbleweeds which have

1. RESERVATIONS

Call Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. at 386-788-0208 to check on the availability of a tour and to sign-up. Payment in full is required on all Day Trips. For Cruises and Overnight Tours only, a Deposit is required.

2. PAYMENT

All Major Credit Cards are accepted on Cruises and Big Tours. For everything else, Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. accepts checks and in US Funds Only. Please put the tour date on the bottom of your check. Checks must be received within 7 business days of reservation date to avoid cancellation. Once your payment has been received, a confirmation will be mailed to the person on the check, with tour departure times, pickup locations, menu, itinerary etc. It is your responsibility to tell those you paid for our policies. Final Tour Information: Approximately 3-5 days prior to departure, you will receive an email reconfirming times and your boarding location. Please check your Email. We will call you if you don’t have Email.

3. ASSIGNED SEATING

Seats on the coach are assigned from front to back in the order that we received payment. If you have a special seating request or a physical handicap, please let us know at time of booking your reservation and we will try to accommodate you. Persons traveling alone or in an odd numbered group of 3,5, will usually need to share a row with another passenger. We try to keep friends together. On Multi-Day Tours, we rotate seats daily. Our motor coaches hold 56 passengers and all have restrooms, Free WiFi & Electrical Outlets every other row. Punctuality is extremely important when traveling in groups. Each person should remain seated, particularly during city driving and coach start-up.

4. BUS PICKUP LOCATIONS AND PARKING

Please confirm pickup location at time of booking reservation. Our regular Bus pickup locations are: ORMOND BEACH at the Wal-Mart Parking Lot at the corner of I-95 and Granada Blvd., PORT ORANGE at Target on Dunlawton Ave. & Clyde Morris Blvd., and NEW SMYRNA BEACH at the Wal-Mart Parking Lot on SR 44, west of I-95. We sometimes pickup at the Orange City Park ‘n Drive at Saxon & I-4 when the bus is going West. Tours going North we will pick up at the Staples in Palm Coast. We may have additional pickup locations with 35 or more guests, provided they are 20 miles from another pickup. Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. and the Parking Lot Owners accepts no responsibility for any vehicles left a these locations.

5. SMOKING, VAPING & PERFUME POLICY & CONCEALED WEAPONS

For the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. operates only Non-Smoking Tours. We stop every 2 to 3 hours for “Stretch & Smoke Breaks.” We ask that you smoke at least 10 feet away from the coach. Due to Medical Reasons, Perfume, Cologne & AfterShave are Never Permitted on the Bus. If detected, you will not be allowed to board the bus and absolutely NO REFUND will be given. This is very important and strictly enforced and no exceptions. This is for everyone’s safety and we appreciate you complying with this rule. Vaping & Carry and Conceal Weapons & Knives are not allowed on the coach.

6. CELL PHONES & RADIOS

Cell Phone Etiquette on the Motorcoach: Please be considerate of your fellow passengers while on the coach and put your cell phone on vibrate, or silent. Refrain from taking calls while on the coach as everyone does not want to hear your conversations. Radios may be used on the motorcoach only with the use of headphones, in order not to disturb other passengers.


7. CANCELLATIONS

Should you cancel your tour for any reason a full refund in the form of a Future Tour Credit will be given only if we are without penalty from the vendor & we are able to resell the seat from our waiting list. Name changes are permitted on Day Trips; we just ask that you call us with a name change if possible. No refunds or credits for No Shows or Missed Bus. Any cancellations are always subject to each Tour Vendor policies and vary per tour. Cancellations beyond our control due to acts of Nature or a Pandemic are non-refundable but will be rescheduled for a later date. Cancellations by Royal Coach Tours & Cruises prior to tour departure, due to a lack of guest bookings, will be refunded in full by agency check.

8. CANCELLATION INSURANCE (OPTIONAL)

Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. is license to sell and highly recommends Cancellation Travel Protection Insurance. Travel Insured International will reimburse you for cancellation fees in the event you must cancel or interrupt your trip. This coverage includes medical insurance, as Medicare does NOT cover you if you depart the USA. It also covers Emergency Medical Evacuation for Medi-flights to the nearest hospital best able to serve your needs, Baggage loss, Trip delay and even cancellations due to recent Acts of Terrorism, and Airline, Cruise Lines or Tour Companies that go out of business.

9. GRATUITIES

The Bus Driver works hard to ensure that your tour is kept on schedule, the bus is clean, comfortable, and so everyone arrives safely. Your driver’s gratuities are NOT included in the price of your tour. The industry suggestion for Day Trips is $2.00 to $2.50 per person, per day, and will be collected by the Group Tour Director at the end of the tour. On all Overnight Tours, hotel portage for 1 Bag per person is included in the price of your tour. The industry suggestion for Driver Gratuities on Overnight Tours is $4 to $5.00 per person, per day. Remember your driver sees that your luggage is handled with care and accounted for. The Industry suggestion for tipping of services of a guide narrating a city tour or docent at an attraction or museum is $1/per person. I ask that you’re thanks to me, be your good word to all your friends!

10. SINGLE SHARE PROGRAM ON OVERNIGHT TOURS & CRUISES

Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. will take single names upon request, and provide your name & phone number to other single, same gender people looking to share the room on a tour or cruise. We suggest you meet for coffee or lunch to talk about the tour and your compatibility before booking.

11. SPECIAL NEEDS & SPECIAL REQUESTS

Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. does NOT discriminate against persons on the basis of disability. We seek to accommodate the needs of all of our passengers so they are able to enjoy our tours. Motorized scooters, electric wheelchairs and walkers are accommodated, provided they fit in the baggage compartment under the coach. Our coaches “Kneel” which makes boarding easier. Unfortunately at this time, our coaches do not accommodate wheelchair bound guests. All guests must be able to board the motor coach on their own. Motion Sickness prone individuals must provide a Physician’s Note to sit up front. Please let us know of any special dietary needs at time of booking. We will certainly try to accommodate all special requests.

12. RESPONSIBILITY

Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. is a tour operator, licensed by the state of Florida to sell travel and travel insurance. Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. organizes and sells tours consisting of services such as airline, cruises, trains, motor coaches, sightseeing, hotel accommodations and meals, all of which are purchased or reserved by Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. The suppliers providing these services for Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. are independent contractors and are not employees or agents of Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. Therefore Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. shall not be responsible for breach of contract or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers. Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. reserves the right to substitute for similar quality, change, postpone, cancel or deviate from any scheduled itinerary and shall not be liable for any loss incurred by a guest. Furthermore, Royal Coach Tours & Cruises, Inc. reserves the right to decline, refuse acceptance of any individual and in the opinion of the escort, to disembark any guest whose presence, to the detriment of the other guests, disrupts the operation comfort or safety of the tour. In such cases, the guest shall not be entitled to any refund and must assume all expenses, risks and responsibilities once gone from the tour. The traveler’s retention of tour confirmation, deposited reservations or bookings shall constitute a consent to all the above and agree to convey the contents hereto to his/her traveling companions.
