By Christ’s great love, the Cross has become the sign of victory. For us, the cross is the difficulties, trials, sufferings, failures and miseries in our lives. Though we often see our crosses as failures, our Faith says that failure is the seed of growth. This is why we celebrate this feast, and take up our crosses daily to follow Christ. ♥ Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows on 15/9. ♥ Optional Memorial of the Most Holy Name of Mary on 12 September. *****FAMILY CAMP: The Church of the Assumption will hold the SERVING AS 1 camp for the whole family on Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 September at the Family House. Anchored on Joshua 24:15 (As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.), this camp is specially designed to explore how Love of the Family and the Light of the Church combine to create a strong serving Family. Parents and children will have lots of bonding moments, and will recognise that serving God as a Family is equally fun and rewarding!
