Route schedule (VL51)

Page 3: Route Determination

For route schedule Z000000099, the goods issue day is Monday. Hence if a sales order is created for customers (ship to party) 21 / 63 with the right combination of shipping condition (assigned in customer master) and transportation group the system automatically proposes the date of next Monday.

Have a sales order 92… schedule line tab

For route schedule Z000000098, the goods issue day is ‘Wednesday’. Hence if a sales order is created for customer 85, and any article with transportation group 0001 / 0002 the system automatically proposes the date of next Wednesday as the delivery date (can be seen from the schedule line tab).

Hope this is what you were looking at for time being. Since we can assign only one calendar to a shipping point, right now we cannot test the behavior with multiple calendars… I will set up another shipping point and assign a different calendar to test the behavior.

Customers to be used – 21, 63, 85

Below we check the usage of route determination in pick list… as per the requirement, the system is expected to create one pick list for the all the customers in the same route. Here we are trying to achieve this by grouping the deliveries that fall under the same route.

1. Create sales orders for various customers with route determination

Sales orders created – 460, 461 and 462… for all the 3 customers and the same route was determined in all the 3 sales orders.

2. Now create deliveries for all the 3 sales orders – the deliveries are created without any entry in picked quantity

3. Then go to the outbound delivery monitor – (VL06O) select picking.

Page 5: Route Determination

The list shows all the deliveries that matched the above selection criteria

Select the ones that you want to group subsequent functions group create

Page 6: Route Determination

The group type will be ‘K’… enter a description as required

You can also create groups from VG01 or you can view group from VG02

Under further data maintain ‘3’.

You can trigger the print from the same tcode or from VL72
