The technically-advanced SuperEight ® Suspension System stretches in a predictable, controlled manner to absorb more impact energy. The remaining impact energy, reduced to ANSI and CSA specified levels by the precise interaction of the hat’s components, is passed to the body’s natural shock absorbers.

Fully adjustable and designed for frequent on/off use with other forms of eye and face protection. Does not affect ANSI rating.
Available pre-installed on P2 caps for longer term combination use. Other forms of protection can be attached and removed without the need for tools.
COMBINATION PROTECTION (FITS P2 MODELS)For multi-hazard applications, protective caps must be used in combination with a variety of additional eye and face protection. For greater cost savings, productivity and convenience, most Fibre-Metal® welding helmets, goggles and
faceshields can be combined with Roughneck P2 caps by utilizing any one of our three combination systems to provide the exact degree of protection and comfort.
Provide a positive seal to keep debris from filtering between the cap and faceshield. The shield may be pivoted above the head between uses without removing the cap.
Use model FH66 for high heat applications. For dielectric applications, use model FM70 (P2) and FM71 (P1).
