Kerry Tel: + 353 66 4010770 E-mail: [email protected] Your tasks Inspection, maintenance and repair of our rotor blades on ENERCON wind turbines throughout Ireland and abroad Blade work will vary between existing wind farms and wind farms under construction Compiling comprehensive rotor blade inspection reports Assist with the maintenance and repair of existing wind turbines nationwide, as and when required Your profile Completed apprenticeship in a technical trade – mechanical fitter, aircraft mechanic, carpenter, marine repairs, etc. Technically competent, a strong mechanical aptitude along with a good working knowledge of GRP Previous experience of blade repair and/or fiberglass repair work is essential Previous experience working on wind farm sites would be a distinct advantage A valid Safe Pass Card Full, clean B driving license essential, C, C1, E+B licenses an advantage Physically fit with the ability to work at heights Geographical mobility is essential – willingness to travel and work nationwide and abroad Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Proficient computer skills Rotor Blade Technicians work in a team which is provided with a company vehicle from the base in Donegal, work tools and the appropriate work clothes.
