Kerry Tel: + 353 66 4010770 E-mail: [email protected] Your tasks • Inspection, maintenance and repair of our rotor blades on ENERCON wind turbines throughout Ireland and abroad • Blade work will vary between existing wind farms and wind farms under construction • Compiling comprehensive rotor blade inspection reports • Assist with the maintenance and repair of existing wind turbines nationwide, as and when required Your profile • Completed apprenticeship in a technical trade – mechanical fitter, aircraft mechanic, carpenter, marine repairs, etc. • Technically competent, a strong mechanical aptitude along with a good working knowledge of GRP • Previous experience of blade repair and/or fiberglass repair work is essential • Previous experience working on wind farm sites would be a distinct advantage • A valid Safe Pass Card • Full, clean B driving license essential, C, C1, E+B licenses an advantage • Physically fit with the ability to work at heights • Geographical mobility is essential – willingness to travel and work nationwide and abroad • Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills • Proficient computer skills Rotor Blade Technicians work in a team which is provided with a company vehicle from the base in Donegal, work tools and the appropriate work clothes.
