Is the founder of Optimal Life and author of five books and DVD’s that teach individuals how to control chronic
diseases, such as diabetes, asthma and hypertension. Her passion for helping patients help themselves stems from
her experiences in over two decades as a health care professional, but her desire to help people with chronic
illnesses became personal when her son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 14. This life-changing
event was instrumental in leading Dr. Lee to create Optimal Life...Dr. Lee received her Doctor of Pharmacy from
the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California and her B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science from the
University of Nevada, Reno... At Optimal Life, they believe that having a chronic illness shouldn’t stop you from
being the healthiest you can be and living your optimal life. It is my pleasure to introduce Dr. Christine Lee...Dr.
Lee focuses on the essential tools: knowing how the disease works in your body and how to prevent or slow
complications. Her straightforward, step-by-step approach makes it easy for anyone to walk away with a better
understanding of how to take control of their health. When you’re in control you can live your life to the fullest,
doing what you really want to do. How to Live Today So You Can Live Tomorrow...Diabetes occurs when the
pancreas no longer produces enough insulin. Diabetes is the seventh leading cause of death in the US today. Do
you know the four simple things you can do to prevent or slow the complications of diabetes? Once you master
these four steps, you’ll be able to measure and effectively manage your diabetes. The results will bring you back
to what’s important in your life – being the healthiest you can be. 1 out of 7 people in California have type 1 or 2
Diabetes. The secret is getting control and staying in control because your life is meant to be lived to the
fullest...Symptoms of Diabetes are Hunger – Frequent Urination – Excessive Thirst... It is a progressive disease
that causes Hi blood pressure, Hi cholesterol and Hi blood glucose.... How do you control Diabetes???
Remember, If you can’t measure it...you can’t control it...Be Proactive...Know What Tests to Get and When to
