The Club• One of the oldest, largest and most
diverse of Thailand’s 270+ Rotary Clubs.• Founded in 1961.• 110 members representing 20 countries.• A unique tradition, culture and spirit.• 100% of funds raised are spent on
charity projects and no administrative fees from the club are charged.

Clean Drinking Water for Schools • Our signature programme.• Over 350 systems installed in nearly 40
provinces. • Providing hygienic water for over 100,000
children, and their families.• Work with local Rotary Clubs, sponsors, villages
and schools to install and ensure ongoing maintenance of the systems.
• System and technology (reverse osmosis) is supplied at cost and includes ongoing maintenance.

• We take over 250 severely handicapped children for a day at the beach at the Royal Varuna Yacht Club.
• These amazing children enjoy the sand, the surf and fellowship with friends, Rotarians and volunteers.
• More than 150 RCBS members and friends including students and teachers volunteer their time.
• Cost for the day is approximately ฿200,000.

Luang Sit Student Scholarships
• The Luang Sit Memorial Scholarship Fund provides grants to needy students wanting to attend tertiary education institutions.
• Grants are channeled through the Foundation for the Welfare of Needy Schoolchildren, under the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen.
• The fund provides grants to students all over the country, with over 130 assisted this year.
• The programme was established in 1964 and has helped many hundreds of students graduate.

• Ban Bang Boon Aids Hospice: ฿204,000
• Sparrow Home (for children whose mothers are in prison): ฿70,000
• Redemptorist Vocational School for People with Disabilities – specialized cushions for wheelchair-bound students: ฿260,000

• Rotarians and friends solicit money on Silom Road• Over 100 corporate and individual sponsors• Thousands of private donations• During the past 13 years it has raised almost
฿19,000,000 (US$ 630,000) for charitable projects.
