1690-1830’s was the biggest time period for this style house.

Gained popularity in the 1700’s in The New England and Southern regions.

The house typically has 2 stories.The materials used in the house vary due to

it’s regional location; however, it was usually made with brick.

Square, symmetrical in shape, has flattened columns around the doors, and Paired chimneys

Georgian

Large use of vertical and horizontal lines. Very boxy looking with minimal roof overhang.
