Debating On Wednesday our Ross Hill debate team competed against Moree Public School in the quarter finals of the Premier Debating Challenge. It was an exciting and very close debate. I am very proud to say that our Gold team won and will continue onto the semi finals. Well done to our first speaker, Kai Douglass, second speaker Heidi Scott, third speaker Joshua Cathie and team adviser India Hall. Congratulations and good luck !

Year 2 Intensive Swimming Our Year 2 students will be participating in a 2 week Intensive Learn to Swim program commencing Monday 11 November which will run every school morning. Students are reminded to bring these items: • Swimmers and towel • A plastic bag for wet swimmers • A note each day for illness if your child

is unwell • Students may wear swimmers under

their uniform to school • Dry undies to change into after swimming. We wish the students 2 weeks of great sunny weather during their time at the pool.

Kindergarten 2020 It was wonderful to meet the families of our Kindergarten 2020 when they came along to Ross Hill for their Kindergarten Orientation sessions. If you have not yet completed and returned your child’s enrolment paperwork could you please do this as soon as possible. All enrolling Kindergarten students need to provide the school with a copy of their birth certificate, immunisation documentation and proof of address to enrol in a NSW Government school. An appointment time needs to be made for Kindergarten Interviews. Students in Kindergarten 2020 will be notified by letter of their placements and BEST Start enrolment time and arrangements during the school holidays. We look forward to seeing you all when school begins next year.
