  • Kunde Magnolia Lane Rosé 2016, Sonoma Valley We say Rosé, yes way! Especially with Turkey! This Rosé is an excellent addition to your holiday table. Step outside the glass and try this Rosé with your Turkey feast. You’ll be the talk of the town, along with that Turkey.

It's hard to nail down specifics on how Rosé wine tastes, but in general they are more subtle versions of their red wine varietal counterparts. The fruit expressions lean towards strawberry, cherry and raspberry with some citrus and watermelon notes present at times as well. Like most wines, Rosé has a broad spectrum when it comes to sweetness ranging from ultra-dry to fairly fruity and sweet.

Another great thing about Rosé wines is that they are extremely versatile when it comes to food. Pair a Rosé with anything from a charcuterie plate to fish, pork, turkey or even a fresh green salad.

    AMARULA CREAM LIQUEUR

Amarula Cream is made from the fruit of the Marula tree, which only grows in the subequatorial plains of Africa. The Marula fruit is the size of a small plum, oval in shape and a rich, yellow color with white flesh. It contains more than four times the amount of Vitamin C than the average orange, and has a creamy, tangy citrus taste.

The Marula tree can’t be cultivated, many people have tried, but these mysterious trees remain true to their earthy roots. At the peak of summer, the trees bear their unique fruit. When the sweet scent of fruit fills the air, elephants travel vast distances to get a taste. This is the sign that harvest is ready to begin, and the fruit is hand-picked after the elephants raise their trunks in approval.

Amarula Cream is best served over ice and with friends. Elephants optional.

    HOLIDAY EDITION 2017

    Franciscan Merlot 2013, Napa Valley

In 1988, Derek Green had a problem. He had to avoid the gluten in Barley and Wheat, and at that time in the United Kingdom and much of Europe, there was no gluten free beer available on the market. A life without beer lay ahead.

Taking matters into his own hands, Green set o across Europe, getting shut down by brewery after brewery. It was a lengthy process, full of trials, false hopes and dead ends. Breweries were not interested in production that didn’t exist and couldn’t be quantified.

In 2003, he met an eminent Belgian professor of brewing, and a relationship formed with the goal of brewing a beer from alternative grains to Barley. After numerous trials, in May 2004, Green’s launched the UK’s first Alternative Grain and gluten free beer.
