CONCLUSION
• Perspective of the story reveals a lot about the opinions of the narrator
• Town’s lack of genuine concern made the scenario worse for Emily- the ending of the story might have been avoidable if action were taken
• Mental illness is something that’s inappropriate as a topic for gossip because of how seriously it affects peoples’ lives
