The national data collection collects information about students who are receiving adjustments because of disability across Australia in a consistent, reliable and systematic way. This strengthens existing approaches to supporting students with disability and draws on evidence of the ongoing work of teachers and education staff throughout the year to provide personalised learning and support for students with disability. “Getting Ready For Learning” 8.45am daily VICE CAPTAIN Congratulations to Ella who has been appointed as our new school Vice Captain after the departure of Lexi. I know she will do a wonderful job as a student leader at our school. PREP ENROLMENTS We are taking new Prep enrolments for 2019. Please let anyone you know that may have a child commencing school next year that enrolment forms are available in our office. PARENT OPINION SURVEY Our school is conducting a survey to find out what parents think of our school. The Parent Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education and Training that is conducted amongst a sample of randomly selected parents. It is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of parentsperceptions of school climate, student behaviour and student engagement. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies. Approximately 50 per cent of parents will be invited to participate in this years survey. All responses to the survey are anonymous. This year the Parent Opinion Survey will be conducted from Monday July 23 to Sunday August 26. The survey will be conducted online, only takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and can be accessed on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The survey results will be reported back to the school at the end of September. Please contact the school office if you would like more information.

ATTITUDE TO SCHOOL SURVEY Our focus on teaching a growth mindset and learning challenge and feedback is paying off. The Rosedale Primary School Grade 4 to 6 students have an outstanding view of their school, their teachers and learning as evidenced by the anonymous survey results received from the Department of Education and Training. Of the 18 factors surveyed, 12 received a score of over 95%, 16 over 90% and the remaining 2 factors scored above 80%. 100% of our students believe that we hold high expectations for their success and 99% feel a sense of inclusion, are confident with their learning and are able to self regulate and set learning goals. Outstanding results to be proud of.

LEADERSHIP PHOTOS Leadership photos are available for the House Captains, Junior School Council and School Captains and can be viewed at the office.
