God Gives Us Fall
When Summer gives way to the next wondrous season,
We look all around us and have a glorious reason,
To be full of amazement and experience elation
As we gaze upon God’s beautiful creation.
The leaves change colors, there is red, brown, and gold-
We’re continually amazed at the sights we behold!
The panorama of colors can leave with us with awe
And be filled with delight concerning all that we saw!
When Summer is over and Fall does arrive,
It’s a sure declaration that God is alive!
For by His providence we know we’re privileged to see
Creation’s great glory and Fall’s pageantry!
But more than these things showing
the blessings God showers,
Fall shows that the Lord is unequalled in all of His powers!
So, as you enjoy all the sights to behold.
Remember all that you see is by the Father controlled.
It is by his love, His grace and His pleasure
That He gives us Fall with its beautiful treasure!
So, when you lay your head on the pillow tonight
Thank the Lord above for the gift of your sight-
For what you have seen is all part of God’s plan,
And Fall, like all seasons, has been wrought by His hand;
Because His glory surrounds us, we should give a thanksgiving prayer
And know that Fall is but another sign of His care!

Life’s Daily Doses
Life is measured in daily doses
Of trials and pleasures each.
Day by day grace is dispensed
To meet our immediate needs.
Comfort comes to the weary
We find that which we seek.
A bridge is built at the river
And power is given to the weak.
One day's load we have to bear
As we travel on life's way.
Wisdom is given for the occasion
And strength to equal each day.
We are never required to stagger
Under tomorrow's heavy load.
We journey one day at a time
As we travel life's rugged road.
God's mercy is new every morning
And His faithfulness is sure.
God perfects all that concerns us
And by our faith, we will endure.
