Simple Truth: Roscommon-South-Leitrim By-Election
The reality of Fine Gael and Labours abortion lawRoscommon-South-Leitrim By-Election 2014
The Government introduced abortion in 2013. They misled the public by presenting the law as a life-saving measure. The Simple Truth Campaign is about giving an honest take on what the new law actually entails.
See more at www.prolifecampaign.ie/simpletruth or follow #simpletruth on Twitter
On October 10th, only vote for Candidates and Parties who publicly oppose the Governments abortion legislation and support the protection of human life from its fragile beginnings.
See inside leaflet for where the Candidates stand on right to life issues.

YOUR VOTE MATTERS - Use it to Protect Human Life
The P

four questions of each of the candidates:
Where the
By-Election

As a M

notwithstanding the position of your
political party (if applicable) will you:
(i) vote against abortion at every opportunity. (ii) vote against destructive em
bryonic stem cell research at every
opportunity. (iii) w
ork with like-m
inded TDs and Senators to advance the protection of life at all stages. (iv) w
ork towards the repeal of the
abortion legislation introduced in Ireland in 2013.
The follow

Misleading
Statements
From
Politicians
Many issues are troubling voters,
but no issue is more im
portant than protecting life. H
ow w
e treat the vulnerable m
easures how civilised w
e are as a society.
In the by-election on October 10
th, only vote for C
andidates and Parties
comm
itted to defending life.
The abortion law
introduced last year was presented as
emergency legislation needed to save w
omens lives. T
he truth of course is that the legislation w
as never about life-saving treatm
ents. It was alw
ays about Fine G
ael caving into the Labour P
arty, who cam
paigned for 20 years for an abortion
regime in Ireland.
