Hello

We are designers Nata and Keti, born in Tbilisi, Georgia in Spring , 1981. Studied together at Tbilisi Academy of Arts on Interior Design faculty. After the graduation we founded a company Rooms. We live in Tbilisi, have a nice studio and work on lots of local interior and product design projects. We are proud to be the first Georgian designers, whose work was also presented at the international exhibitions and at Moooi showroom, as they decided to produce our Position lamp. Though we are completly busy with our interior projects: like hotels, restaurants shops, and private apartments, our successes on the international market motivated and challenged us to be part of an international design industry . We started to use our products in our own projects, international exhibitions helped us with good press and sales. The first product was The Dressed Chair in 2007, which is still topical and demanded product.

As we are from the country, where we had to live in different eras: Soviet childhood and the era of changes, passion for independence and development, mix of Asian and European cultures, one can feel an influence on our design ideas.... And then our profession started to exist, which is inspiring our life.

At last and at least we would like to introduce you with our products that were manufactured locally in Tbilisi, also included here some of the sketches of the ideas for our new products prototypes.

We agree that design is about a good idea. ..Our products are part of us. We give them a special mood, function and the lady’’s touch. Thank You

Our current work is designed for the creating rusted surface. It is a result of experimentation with materi-

al and shapes and mixing together materials that never stay together, such as rust and wood.

Easy reading Armchair

Easy reading Armchair was the result of our interior design project for the book store and cafe. We wanted to create the spirit of the an old li-brary and cafe, a little bit of mystic, a fairytale with extraordinary design. And we came up with the idea of the comfortable, solid and sig-nifcant seating. The look of the armchair with a shabby leather upholstery has unusual shape with the imitation of extruded books. The handles of the Armchair are wide and strong, one can place books or other staff on them, or they can be served as an additional seating place for a little lady. This product is a new idea, carrying a worm aura in it. Easy reading armchair can be developed in different ways, using different upholstery fabrics.

New Product Prototypes


Stacked Armchair

Stacked armchair originates from the stack of chairs encountered in everyday life. We found them quite inspiring and came up with the idea to create a new- one piece armchair, that will be functional, attractive and playful with its shape and colors, also this idea can be developed in different ways, using and mixing various preferredtextiles and materials: wool,velvet, printed fabrics and even plastic.


The Bench

The idea of the Bench was to create a playful product. We experimented with materials and shapes likedefined forms of wooden ribbon and the wooden screwed leg.

The result was a product with a new look


A Box

A Box is a multifunctional but simple design piece, it can serve as a storage at home ( for books, shoes, plates and dishes..) and/or as a display vitrine in shops, or in the hotels and restaurants.. It’s up to you, how creative you are. It’s shape and functionality inspire to place it in the center of the room and use it from both sides, on one side with shelves for displaying different things and the other side with doors to put those things in it. The wooden shelves with glass are illuminat-ed inside with soft LED lighting. The Box is available with rollers or/and fixed legs and the materials used are : wood, glass and painted mdf..


Rooms Upholstery

We experimented with various upholstery ideas, created the printed fabrics. Using the themes likeCaucasian rugs, Georgian manuscripts and combination of geometric forms and colorful fowers.

Material used: printed velvet and printed linen.
