g increases the durability of the roofCopper ions flushed out by rain water are an effective prevention against the soiling and dilapidation of new roofs.

g Also cleans soiled roof areasDepending on the level of soiling, layers of moss and lichen are removed completely within 1 to 5 years.

g The shaping of the saddle washers increases the material surface to around 150 %If rain water collects on the material for longer peri-ods of time, the effects of Roof Recovery are signifi-cantly improved. In addition, the shaping optimizes the workability and the surface conformance.

g High adhesive strength and reliabilityThe butyl rubber adhesive strips that are used have a high adhesive strength on most subsurfaces, they are duroplastic and have a high temperature resistance.

Range of application:For steep roofs.BTI Roof Recovery may only be used on roofs with cop-per flashing or copper guttering, synthetic guttering, lacquered flashing or guttering with a fully intact layer of lacquer. This product is generally not recommended for use at temperatures below +5 °C or on damp subsurfaces. Abrasive cleaning is necessary for very soiled roofs to accelerate the effects of the process. The effects of Roof Recovery are based on the chemical properties of the copper ions that are flushed out by rain water.

Processing instructions:Fix BTI Roof Recovery below the last row of roofing tiles before the ridge so that water does not come below the copper tape and weaken the butyl adhesive. When using Roof Recovery on new roof coverings it should be fitted on the second to last row of roofing tiles before the last row of roofing tiles is laid. Use scissors to cut Roof Recovery to the required lengths and mould to the shape of the roof. Partially peel away the protective film from the butyl rubber adhesive strips on the reverse and press down on the Roof Recovery. After fixing this in place continue to peel away the protective film and continue to press down on the product. You should use the BTI Contact Roller (Item number 016739) for this. We recommend that BTI Roof Recovery is glued to the ends and joints using BTI DK Butyl Tape to prevent wind loads. If creating gaps for ventilation elements or skylights, you must use an additional strip of Roof Recovery underneath.

For internal vapor porous sealing of window connection joints

g used together with a vapor porous product with the correct physical Sd value gap for external areasAccording to current technical standards and the window installation guidelines, the required Sd value gap of 1 to 10 (external / internal) is met or greatly exceeded when used together with 4W-external tape or 4W-joint sealing tape VF 600

g Simple concealed installation is possibleThe fixing strip has very high adhesive strength on all types of window frames.

g Safe, quick and long-lasting fixing to masonryThe plasto-elastic butyl rubber compound on the underside fixes faultlessly to many subsurfaces, thanks to its very high adhesive strength.

g can be plastered and painted overThe fleece-backed upper side can be plastered over with standard plaster or painted over with building dispersion paints.

Range of application:For glaziers, builders, plasterers, interior finishers, carpenters and roofers; used for vapor porous sealing of connection joints in internal areas

Processing instructions:When gluing to surfaces ensure they are clean, dry, sturdy and free of grease, oil and other anti-adhesive elements. Unreel the 4W-Fleece butyl and cut to re-quired lengths including a 10 cm excess. Remove the masking paper from the adhesive strip, press the fixing strips carefully onto the backs of the windows or the window frames of all sides that need to be sealed. Then you can fill in the hollow gap betwen the window and the wall using insulation material. Peel away the pro-tective film from the butyl side and stick the tape care-fully to the subsurface. Pay attention to where the tape overlaps in the corners! Use a contact roller to achieve optimal initial adhesion.

Priming is not required on the following subsurfaces, however an undercoat of primer increases the initial adhesion: g concrete with a tough undercoatg Aluminum (anodized, coated or lacquered)g Sheet copperg Zinc plateg clinker brickg ceramic (glazed, unglazed)g Perspexg glass with a smooth surfaceg High-grade steelg Synthetic profiles (hard PVc, polyester)g Alkyd resin lacquerg Wood with open or closed poresg Water varnishes and water glazes

A primer must be used on the following subsurfaces: g natural concreteg Lime sand stoneg Porous concreteg Fixed plasterg untreated steelg untreated woodg Weathered rough glass

Range of application:Used to glue butyl and bitumen tapes to different com-mon building surfaces such as plaster, concrete, porous concrete, tiles, lime sand brick, hard PVC and various sheet metals.

Processing instructions:Ensure that the subsurface is not oxidized and that it is dry, clean, smooth, stable, free of any loose debris, dust, grease, ice, frost and dew. Before using check whether the subsurface can be coated with Multi primer. Stir or shake the Multi primer well before use. Multi primer is ready to use and must not be thinned down or mixed with other products. Apply the Multi primer evenly to the entire area using a roller or brush; it can not be sprayed on. Before you position the tapes the previ-ous coat must be dried through and aired. This means that the undercoat should not rub off when touched. You must always check that the undercoat has dried through before installing the tapes. To do this stick a small strip of tape on the undercoat, press down and then rip it off. If the undercoat comes away from the subsurface, the adhesion is not yet sufficient. The adhesion is sufficient if the tape only comes away from the subsurface under extreme force.

Vapor porous sealing tape for quick and secure sealing of window connection joints SFlb in internal areas

g High adhesive strength of fixing strip is suitable for all types of window frames

g the butyl has excellent adhesive strength on many subsurfaces

g can not be plastered or painted overg compatible with perspex and polycarbonateg High tensile strength

When laid, will not rip if walked upon and will not be torn up by the wind

g High water vaporproofing

Range of application:The Internal aluminium tape can be easily fixed to ma-sonry using the plasto-elastic butyl rubber compound strip with high adhesive strength. The self-adhesive fixing tape allows it to be applied easily to the backs of windows. Its relatively narrow width makes it suitable in particular for a completely concealed installation below window sills or covering strips.

Processing instructions:Subsurfaces must be clean, dry, sturdy, and free of grease, oil and other anti-adhesive elements. Highly absorbant, porous or mineral subsur-faces such as concrete, plaster, untreated steel, un-treated wood or rough glass must be treated in advance with Butyl Primer. Roll out the Internal aluminium tape and cut leaving approx. 5 cm excess. Remove the masking paper from the adhesive strip, press the fixing strips carefully onto the backs of the windows and all sides that need to be sealed. Remove the protective film from the butyl strip and carefully stick the tape in place. Make sure the tapes overlap in the corners!
