I want to become an anesthesiologist. To become an anesthesiologist you are required to have a graduate degree. I would like to attend Duke University. The tuition and fees equal $52,818 in state and Out-of-state. Duke is a four year school. While becoming an anesthesiologist you will do two years of building on basic science and the second two years in clinical training. Anesthesiology is the practice of medicine dedicated to the relief of pain and total care of the surgical patient before, during and after surgery. My career requires a medical license. Also, completion of an approved PG-7 program or internship along with a residency in anesthesiology are required. My reaction to the pathways in front of me, those are the requirements and I have to live up to them. There are goals I have to accomplish to become an anesthesiologist and I am going to do that. Dukes standards are high and they are high for a reason It is one of the top ten medical schools. I think that once all of those pathways are out of the way, it will be worth it.
