The ROMEO three-in-one multiband camera provides color VIS, NIR low-light level, and SWIR capability by utilizing a common aperture within a single, minimized SWaP volume. All of the ROMEO sensors are co-aligned to enable retrofit and upgrades to current multifunction sensor packages without complex alignment procedures. The camera features high-definition sensors for maximum performance, and is reconfigurable for mission specific requirements via format, resolution changes, or spectral band optimization. This unique capability has been developed to address the issue of limited volume in current gimbal and turret systems by placing three sensors in a single volume, allowing additional system capabilities to be included. The camera is designed to perform in tactical military environments.
