There is a fight between the Capulet's and the Montague's, where the prince of Verona Paris proclaims that the next time the two families fight the ones responsible for the fight will get their heads cut off. Then Romeo appears on the scene, and he is in love with Juliet’s cousin Rosaline. Although Romeo is in love with Rosaline she is not in love with him, because she swore to still live chaste( oath of purity). Then Romeo meets Juliet at the Capulet’s ball where he falls in love with her, and she falls in love with him, and they share a passionate kisses. Then Juliet swore that her only love would be her enemy, he too did the same.
