Parish Registration: All families are welcome to the Parish and should register in the Rectory. Please call to make an appointment with the Pastor.

SACRAMENTS : Confessions: Monday to Friday before 8AM Mass Saturday 4:00 PM. All other times by appointment.

Baptisms: Baptisms will take place the 3rd Sunday of the month at 1:30 PM. An instructional class is required for all parents & Godparents and will be held the 2nd Wednesday of the month, at 8PM in the Church. Parents should call the rectory to arrange the celebration.

Marriages: Reserve and register date & time as soon as possible, at least six months in advance of the wedding. Pre-Cana and other instructional sessions are required for all couples.

Ministry to the Sick: Sick calls and Communion calls on the First Friday of the month. Please call the Rectory.

This weekend we are having our Annual Mis-sionary Appeal. Rev. Arkadiusz Buszka, will speak on behalf of the Redemptorists ministries in Ukraine and Russia. The Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, Redemptorists, is a missionary congregation that ministers to the poor in more than 70 countries around the world. The area of the former Soviet Union is undoubtedly a place where many ne-glected people need help. Thanks to the efforts of Polish Redemptorists, we have been building the next church there. In front of us, there is the next project: the completion of the construction at the church and pastoral center in Togliatti - central Russia. We would like to express our deep grati-tude to all of you for your prayers, kindness and support of our projects. Every day, we thank God in our prayers for all people of good will, their prayers, and generosity. May God Bless you all.

St. Francis Prep Introduces ... Francis Kids! A Summer Bible Camp for ages 4-7 (must be 4 of Dec 1,2018) July 23rd - July 27th, 2018 9am to 12noon This year's theme is "Shine and Serve" Join us this summer for crafts, Bible lessons, music, play and fun! Each day will begin with an opening prayer and song. The rest of the day will consist of four 35 minute sessions of Music, Arts & Crafts, Play/Games and a lesson focused on our theme each day. Each day we will celebrate one of the four Franciscan Values! Camp staff and counselors will be current faculty and students of SFP. Impact-God provides! Even when things get difficult or look bleak, God provides, and does so generously. Pay attention. The Sunday readings this month invite us to see the abundance of God in our midst - life, knowledge, faith, love, honesty, conversation, healing, vision for the future, grace, forgiveness, mercy, and even things like weakness and humility. On July 15, St. Paul tells the people of Ephesus, and each of us, that we have already received part of our inheritance. Did you know that you have an inheritance? Our in-heritance is the gift of the Holy Spirit, the advocate, the guide! We see this gift in so many ways - skills and talents in the right moments, inklings and promptings for which we cannot quite finger the source, and of course the little “God moments”, “God-incidences” or “God winks.” Through the power of the Spirit, we more readily recognize the abundance of Christ’s life and love and share it with others. Jesus instructs the disciples in the Gospel, and us, to go out to the community to preach and teach, taking nothing. We must trust that our heavenly Father will provide for our needs through those we encounter. At one parish this summer, the council decided to welcome the local homeless program COTS (Churches Providing Temporary Shelter) to use the facility to shelter individuals sheltered at another local facility during the winter. Staffed by the shelter staff and volunteers, along with about 10 other local churches, provide overnight shelter for 5-15 guests. Individuals who stayed with us shared how much they appreciated our beautiful grounds and our hos-pitality. The little village board was “inspired” to dis-cuss their welcoming and readiness to accommodate the homeless in their midst – something they had not had to reflect on as they are some distance from the downtown area typically frequented by the homeless population. The overnight guests came with nothing other than what they carried and all they offered was an empty space for sleep. Yet the Lord provided so much beauty and unique opportunities to know God’s abundant love, for the recipients of care as well as those offering it. Our God is a God of great love. God knows our needs, our wants, and our most intimate desires. In this month of vacations, pop-sicles, family and fresh sweet corn, take a moment to notice and note God’s abundance. If this month is one of challenge, spend an extra few minutes with the Sunday scriptures. Pay attention! Let the words of God’s consistent and reliable legacy of love, even in times of difficulty, wash over you.
