IntroductionRole of education in our life to mitigate the poverty is very important.
Education is the basic human right of every person. As we know that every aspect
of the life is directly linked with education. All success of a person, a company and
a country is depends upon the education system that provided by the public and
private sector. If the education system is well managed by the Government and run
by the able teachers there should be development in the single country as the
development increased opportunity for jobs and living standard should be
increased. As the living standard boost up by the education, the peoples who are
living in or below the poverty should be well educated. They should be able to run
their job and house that is the big hurdle for the better development of an economy.
An healthy education system produce the healthy minds and skills, when
we used it, we introduce the new technology that boost up our production and
when production increased our GDP increased that also increased the sales which
gives us the huge profit and we hire more and more employees to increase our
output level also with higher efficiency and effectiveness, then we do not
compromise our quality because of heavy profit chain. Hence we can be able to
increase our per capita income after the higher level of national income.

Review of previous study
Linkage between education and poverty can be understood in two ways.
Investment in education as a poverty reduction strategy which can enhancethe skills and productivity among poor household.
Poverty as constraint to educational achievement both at the macro level and
micro level.
Some countries that have high GNP have greater education equality for
males and females but in under develop countries this trend is change they
education to male rather than the female. Some constraints to give education to
girls explain the persistence of gender gap and how gender reduce the educational
opportunity for girls the opportunity cost of girls schooling is less than the maleeducation but our social aspect and marriage of women and after that they remain
in the house not think important to give education to females.
Education, especially basic (primary and lowery secondary) education, helps
to reduce the poverty by increasing the productivity of poor, by reducing the
richness and improving the health, and by equipping people with the skills they
need to participate fully in economy and society (World Bank 1995:1).
The World Bank assert that public spending on private education generallyin the favor of the poor , but public spending on education policy as a whole often
in the favor the rich because of heavy subsidization of the upper secondary and
high level of education . It is pointed out that higher education student come
illegally from rich families and there for public sector spending for higher
education is particularly unjust (World Bank 1995).
The impact of user fees in Malawi
In Malawi when primary school fees were introduced in 1982 enrolments declinedinitially and than grew at much slower rate than previously. When, in1994, the new
democratic government of Malawi removed fees for primary schooling there are
immediately a huge increase in enrolment with numbers in primary school
increasing from 1.9 million to 3 million during the years. Fees are significant

expense for family budgets, and reduction can have a big impact on enrolments,
particularly among poorer households. Source: colclough 1996
What is education and poverty?
After the independence the planner of our country were mainly concerned
with economic growth. Each activity of the economy was linked with the economy
growth. Now for this purpose we mostly concerned with establishing a relationship
between education and economic growth. Human capital directly linked with
poverty. Human capital is the stock of skills and productive knowledge that can be
used to enhance economic growth. Because education increases an individuals
skills and his earning power. Thus education plays a positive role to mitigate the
poverty.
What is education?
According to our Holey prophet peace be upon him, which tells us as
TO LEARN EDUCATION FROM CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. They also
made education a religious obligation. Our Holey Prophet (PBUH) knows that the
education is very compulsory to mitigate the poverty. The first revelation on our
Holey Prophet (PBUH) is that READ IN THE NAME OF ALLAH which takes
a big secret of success for us.
We can see in our environment like many products and services remains
less preferable until an educated person not convert it in the final goods and
services.
A single person will not make better decision but they will do that moreproperly with the help of education and knowledge. A good education helps one to
determine between what is right and what is wrong. Thats why a single person
takes a very heavy salary rather than the other persons in the same institute or
organization.

What is poverty?
Widespread literature on the issue has provided various explanations of
poverty.
1-Lack of resources to obtain the minimum necessities of life (Kakwani, 2001)
2-A person is poor if his/her welfare or utility level falls below a certain level (Barr,
1993; Goedhart, T., Halberstadt, V., and van Praag, 1977);
Poverty in Pakistan
Pakistan is facing a big problem like poverty. It is one of the most
important and sensitive issue not only for our country but for the whole world.Poverty can cause other social problems like theft, backhander, corruption,
falseness, lawlessness, injustice. To eliminate the evils of society we have to fight
with poverty. We can't control theft by enrolling thousands of police men.
Corruption and injustice can not come to an end through tight rules and regulation
but by demolishing poverty.
A low level of domestic income for an individual person results in lack
of access to education, health care, and other public facilities like lake of
sanitation, transportation and communication. The poverty of thought is the major
social problem. To eliminate poverty in Pakistan we have to fight with the causes
and factors of poverty. Unless the causes and factors of poverty will be settled the
poverty will never end.
Lack of knowledge is one of the important aspects of poverty. Ignorance
is lake of information or lake awareness. In this modern age of scientific revolution
we are far behind in the education and most importantly scientific education. Our
literacy rate is less than fifty percent the female education rate is even in miserable
state. The right kind of education to the individuals is the solution of poverty. The
right kind of education to the farmer is the knowledge of scientific ways of
agriculture. A progressive and professional thinking is required in the farmers life.
Poverty can not come to an end unless we will spend much larger part of
our GDP to the education sector. We have to open more primary and secondary

schools especially in our villages rather than the cities. As we know that poverty
rate in our rural area is greater than the urban. Hence we will be able to mitigate
the poverty.

After going through these three tables we saw that literacy rate are
increasing and poverty rates are decreasing up to 2006 but after that due to
increasing in poverty rate there is decreasing trend in GDP rates.
On the other side literacy rates of our country are increasing gradually. But
this is not enough, if we want to decrease our poverty rate then our

government should invest into the primary sector. Especially in to the rural
areas where poverty rate is much higher as compare to the urban areas.
Hence, we can be able to mitigate the poverty by increasing the enrollment in
to the primary education of our country

Drawback of Poverty
As you earlier understand about poverty rout causes. Now in this portion
we are trying to understand the draw backs of poverty. The wide spread poverty is
attributed to the economic declining and the financial crisis that the county has
been facing for the last many years. Extremely tough IMG\WB prescribed
structural adjustment and economic revival programs have thrown the nation into
the poverty sticky situation. Then ever increasing prices of daily commodities high
inflation rate and devaluation of the currency are making it harder and harder for a
poor common man to keep his body and soul together. Inflating bills of electricity
gas and telephone are worrying the people further. Again socio-economic
inequalities let the benefits instead of trickling up to the rich.
The pleasures of the rich are bought with the tears of the poor.
(Thomas Fuller)
In general sense if we look around poverty force people to act like that to
capture some thing which provide him the basic needs bread, house & clothes in
this way people starts illegal jobs so now the bagging and other activities like theft.
Poverty has strained the social fabric of the society .Standard of living of the
people is falling down rapidly. Being unable to lift the heavy burden of life on their
financially weak shoulders more and more people are committing suicide. Poverty
is also taking the heavy toll of their health and morality. More and more poverty
stricken people indulging in crimes and social evils. Besides poverty has deprived
the people of mental peace as well as of comforts of life.
In our country mostly people are spending their life hand to mouth even
they are not meeting their basic needs which is food, cloth & house so Government
should take steps urgently from my observation education is the main weapon
through the use of this our nation can boosts up and then become a successful
nation of the world .

How to Control poverty through education
As I earlier mentioned the education is the main weapon by the use of
this we can achieve all the goals and targets to the way of prosperity. In education
we should put main focus on womens education. Education of girls and women
helps to reduce excessive population growth by promoting the concept of family
planning, collective heath and well being .As the educated family has the few
children full confidence productivity and experience a longer and healthier life
should be able to reduce the poverty.
Educated women have the fewer children than uneducated women and
those children who are born to an educated mother have a much better chance of
serving and being healthy. An educated woven also tend to participate more
activity in political processes and decision making with their family and
community.
This part has argued that we need to use a broader and more difficult
understanding of poverty to understand barriers to education. Its not possible to
understand poverty only in an complete fashion. Complete poverty may delay
entry into school, and protract the journey through school and in a few cases the
daily burden of absolute poverty may see children leaving school altogether, but
the simple equation between poverty and lack of access to school is not borne out
in the Pakistan case. High Gross Enrolment Rates in the basic education indicatesthat most learners go to school.
The solution lies in recognizing the relative experience of poverty and
the process by which children and parents become excluded from school itself
and from participation in SGBs. If poverty is felt in a relative way then a simple
concentration on fees and other access costs will not have a major impact on
getting all children in school. Rather than this narrow focus, resources should be
placed or redirected into providing better support mechanisms in schooling for
principals, teachers and learners: counselors and social workers for example.
Significantly, the funding system would have to be reassessed to the extent that it
provides incentives for principles and SGBs to exclude children on the basis of
poverty or non-payment of fees.

A GOOD EDUCATION NATION
As we knows that when American attacks the Japans city Hiroshima and
Nagasaki, the resources for living and going toward the development all of that
destroyed by bomb attack. But they control their nation and poverty by the better
education system day by day and proved that we can capture all over the world
through education.

Related case study
The case study which I am going to share with you is all about my
personnel feeling, observation and study. I personally met with people and collectall the information which related with my topic how a peoples over come their
crisis and boosts up the family and financial condition.
In Toba Tec Sing in District Head Quarter Dr. Abdul Aziz surgeon
doing his job and his other brother are teaching in government sectors and also
help him with private clinic his sisters are also playing the role in the productivity
of their lives. When Dr. and his sibling are at the age of less than ten his parents
are very poor even that they are not meeting their basic needs they are working
under the rich persons home.
His parents works day and night for his childrens education they faced
a lot of tough time they collect high amount of debt for the betterment of their
children. Under these circumstances his children give him reward in the shape of
they gained education after that they gain the specialization degrees.
Now Dr. Abdul Aziz and his family are enjoying happy monuments of
their lives this is all about the education. Education is only way to over come the
poverty.

CONCLUSION & SUGGESTIONS
We find that the people of Pakistan have the biggest challenge of being poor as
compared to the china. So we should control our population growth.
We find that the people of Punjab have the biggest challenge of being poor as
compared to the other province. Due to the population growth.
We find that if education level of the head of the household increases the
chance of that household being remains poor decreases.
We find that when transfer of payment increases the chances of a household
being poor declines thus our saving power increase that is most important to
decline poverty rate.
We find that if chances of a household being poor decrease with the education
then the number of earner in that household increases.
We find that as size of the household increases the poverty there should be
increases.
We find by giving education and employment to the individual we can reduce
the poverty.
We find that our country is an agricultural land so if we provide to our formers
a technical education, how to prepare the land, quantity of fertilizers to the
specific land and at the end giving small loans without interest thus we can
reduce the poverty.
We should give education by enhancing the skills of the individual, that
increases the earning capacity of a person and also enhance the possibility of
getting job. In this way we can reduce the poverty.
