First , you need to download the

Jing software

Go to

https://www.techsmith.com/jing.html

Click the free download button


Below screen will appear


Click the start windows download



Jing will start to download


Download completed

Click the run button


Jing preparing to install



Preparation completed

Click the install button



Installation in progress


Installation finished


Click the finish button


Below window will appear


Click the get started button


Below window will appear


Fill in your details

Click the create button


Check your email inbox to

activate your account



Open the email from Techsmith


Then below screen will appear

Click the link below



Then you have to register at

screencast.com


Fill in your details


Click the sign up button


Click continue to your library

button

You can upload your content in

screencast



Click the upload content button


Click the browse button


Choose file to upload in your

computer


Click the open button

Click the close button



Your file now uploaded in My

library

You can also share the file

you’ve uploaded


Right click the file you’ve

uploaded



Below is the URL link for the file

Below also is an HTML link for

your web page


Then click the send invitation

button



Put the email addresses needed

Then just click the send button



Going back to Jing

After Jing is installed , sun is

shown on your desktop


Click the sun, then below screen

will appear


Click the capture button



This cross hair will appear


Drag and highlight what you

want to capture


Click the capture image button

You can also annotate on the

captured image



Click the arrow button, to put an

arrow


Drag where you want the arrow

to point

Click the T button, to write texts


Drag in to the desired location of

the text


You can change into your

desired text color


Then type the text inside the box



Text height can be adjusted here

Font type can also be adjusted

here


Text box color can also be

adjusted here



Type the file name here

Click the screencast button when

done


Click the screencast link to get

the file


Right click the image and save it


You can also make a video

capture



Click the capture button


Drag to the desired video

capture location


Click the video capture button


Then start recording your video


Your mouse movement, your

voice will be recorded


Click the finish button, when

done with the recording
