Background:

RokNar Gorehoof grew up in the village of MarLocKel, on the southern plains

of Eldas. At the age of four a great shaman came to his village, and requested that his

parents allow RokNar to train under him. RokNars parents allowed it, and RokNarwas taken to the mountain of NarGahLak. Four twelve years he trained under the great

shaman every day for eighteen hours a day. RokNar was the greatest and most adept

student the shaman had ever seen. Then at the age of sixteen it was time for RokNar toundergo the shamanistic rite of passage. He was to go to the barren valley of

MarLorKan.

MarLorKan was a small valley surrounded by hills in the eastern plains of thetroll lands. The valley was uninhabited due to the lack of resources, but the shamans were

able to find a deep connection to the spirits of the earth in that valley. It was believed that

this was the spot where the titans fell during the Titanic Divide long ago. Now at the age

of sixteen each shaman was taken to this valley. They would stay there and meditate for
