genau wie helm oder Brille sind handschuhe ein accessoire. das Wort „accessoire“ stammt aus dem französischen und heißt so viel wie „neben-sächlich“. für uns als handschuhmacher in sechster generation sind hand-schuhe die schönste nebensache der Welt. Wir machen nichts anderes. die fokussierung zahlt sich aus: der name roeCkl steht für durchdachte funk-tionalität, herausragende passform und spürbaren tragekomfort.

und das kommt nicht von ungefähr: Wir beginnen bei der hand. denn un-sere hände sind unsere Werkzeuge. durch sie begreifen wir die Welt und meistern unsere täglichen herausforderungen mit fingerspitzengefühl. da-bei sind die hände eines der komplexesten gebilde im menschlichen körper – ein meisterwerk an funktionalität und flexibilität.

auch beim radfahren leisten sie höchstarbeit. Sie ermöglichen feinfühlige Steuerimpulse sowie die präzise Bedienung von Schaltung und Bremsen. da-bei sind die hände nicht nur Befehlsempfänger des hirns. im gegenteil: Sie sind ein wichtiger impulsgeber für das Wahrnehmen und erkennen, für das denken und entscheiden. diese Werkzeuge müssen wir pflegen und schüt-zen. durch handschuhe.

radhandschuhe sind auf den ersten Blick kein technisches produkt. doch der eindruck täuscht. neben ihrer Schutzfunktion erfüllen sie viele, teilweise gegensätzliche anforderungen. So müssen radhandschuhe in erster linie einen zuverlässigen griff gewährleisten und die sensible handhabung sowie Steuerung von lenker, Schaltung und Bremsen garantieren. Weitere funktio-nen sind die dämpfung von druck und Vibrationen, der Schutz vor Überbelas-tung, und die Belüftung der hände.
