Formed when MAGMA or LAVA COOLS AND HARDENS (SOLIDIFIES)

Examples: Obsidian & Granite
Key Words: All types of rocks can be changes into igneous rocks by the COOLING and MELTING of any rock.
Formed when rocks are WEATHERED and ERODED, sediments get COMPACTED and CEMENTED into solid rocks.
2. SEDIMENTARY ROCKS
