Rock star Energy Drink Advert review

Overall I am happy with the outcome of my Advert, although there are some few mistakes or minor problems which I could have improved. First I think the idea I chose was well relatable and worked great when put with my scootering skills and it makes sense because Rock star energy is an Extreme sports drink and works a lot with people who are into extreme sports. Coming to the Camera work and filming I noticed that there could have been a few changes into shooting the footage e.g. some shots were taken from the wrong point of view and I go out of the camera at some points which was abit of a ruin when coming to edit the video. Also I may have reconsidered filming it at the time of day which I did because the sun had gone down and the lighting wasn’t the best, some clips are harder to visualise when watching because there was no light on that specific place. But overall I reckon the footage was pretty good footage but could have been improved by changing some angles and lighting. Now coming to the editing process the editing was fast and rather easy in my opinion, the parts I found hard were possibly getting the clips to switch on the perfect timing to the music, but I eventually got it right and could focus more on the brightness and visual effects on certain parts. Another thing I found hard when editing the clips was getting the required 30 seconds which I found difficult because I had better clips to use but unfortunately couldn’t use them as I would have ran over time. To make the timing bang on 30 seconds I had to speed up the last 2 clips which look quite bad in my opinion but at the same time it goes with the music at that moment of time. In conclusion I think the advert went rather well considering I had not so much time but I do think there was improvements which was needed, if I could go back and re edit the video I think I would change the time of day to film, make sure the camera is more focused before filming, getting the perfect angles and distances to get the whole clip in the shot and used the best clips to meet the required time.
