Rock music first originated as Rock ‘N’ Roll in America in the 1950’s and
then started to originate into more themes into the 1960’s majority
through the United Kingdom and America. It was influenced a lot by
rhythms and blue and also country music. The genre also grew with new
type of rock genres like blue and folk which were influenced by jazz,
classical and other musical resources.

average with every issue sold and a readership total of 339,000 people
per copy showing how popular rock is with other magazine like Kerrang
