Explanation of Clause 2 no 1 of
Constitution No. 32 of 2009 explains, that is
tlie "fundamental wisdom" is that the
protection and management of the
environment should pay attention to the
noble values that occur in tlie life of society.
The definition corresponds to the
theoretical understanding of local wisdom,
namely:
1. Heddy Shri Ahimsa-Putra, local wisdom
is the knowledge of the community, both
fi'om previous generations and
experiences of dealing with the
environment and other people, to be

completed properly varioxis problems
and / or difficulties encoimtered .̂
2. Referring to the view Heddy Shri
Ahimsa-Putra, Sugih Biantoro valuing
traditional knowledge (old) as the
knowledge of the community to resolve
the issue properly and / or difficulties
encountered, as well as obtained from
previous generations orally or through
examples of actions, which have the
power of constitution and do not like.
Meanwhile, the wisdom of
contemporary (now) is the knowledge
that just appeared m a community^.
Local wisdom, thus, is the wisdom or
knowledge of the local community (local),
both derived from previous generations and
experiences of the present, which can vary
with the intelligence community elsewhere.
So, local wisdom in every community in a
place that has the particularity to distinguish
from one another.
Listening to understanding local
wisdom either authentic or theoretical.
