Offshore oil and gas developments in shallow to medium

water often involve the construction and installation

of a fixed platform. These structures vary in size and

complexity, but all of them are constructed onshore

after which they need to be transported and installed

at the offshore location. Our customers then face a

and install their valuable equipment? Will the volume

and complexity of interchanges/faces overwhelm their

Heerema has a large and highly versatile fleet of

specialized vessels and equipment, providing

unmatched execution redundancy and flexibility.

Our vessels provide 95% year-round workability for

shorter, more predictable schedules. And our assets

are fully-owned, which means that our customers enjoy

the comfort of commitment from the party that truly

controls their schedules and capabilities.

For example, our SSCV Thialf has the highest single

and dual crane lift capacity in the world. And our new

semi-submersible crane vessel Sleipnir will be unveiled

in 2019, providing optimized operability, speed and

versatility and even more lift capacity and lift volume

above and below the waterline, and below the crane

boom.

A commitment to continuous innovation

Across six decades, Heerema has demonstrated

commitment to innovation in a variety of areas. When

it comes to assets, we moved from monohull to semi-

submersible vessels. When it comes to operations, we

expanded from single to dual crane operations and

simultaneous single crane operations, we drove piles in

the deepest of waters, and we performed floatovers up

to 50,000 mT. When it comes to sustainability, we now

capture energy from lowering loads, and our Sleipnir

will be LNG-powered with dual fuel capabilities. And

we have done this while working closely with our

customers to create innovative execution and contract

approaches that deliver predictability and confidence.

which provides us with neutrality and independence as

we work with fabricators, design houses, certification

authorities, governments and, of course, our

customers. We encourage our customers to involve

us (and other key contractors) as early as possible in

the project to align approaches and expectations from

both people and equipment. HMC is committed to

maintaining an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) workplace

at all times. Our IIF program includes regular training

sessions for all operational personnel, and we

continuously raise awareness about the need to uphold

recognized safety standards. During projects, we work

hard to identify and eliminate any foreseeable hazards,

taking the utmost care to prevent incidents that could

result in personal injury, illness, or damage to property

and the environment. As a result, Heerema has one of
